No, man…the game’s getting more and more consistent
To stand a chance, the totems need to rotate in a cycle and show an indicator on the HP which one is gonna be the next to spawn
So we can at least make real plays for a change, rather than just praying and clicking that hero power, ready to concede cuz 75%
You can play baku to get your choice of any basic totem, even multiples of the same.
I do like the idea of cycling excect for when i want stoneclaw or wrath of air every turn…the portrait of the next rando one covering the hero power art would be awesome tho no matter the circumstances

I actually think this change would make very little impact currently. Spending 2 mana on a totem is pretty hard to get value off of for shaman currently. How often does shaman want to even use the hero power with the currrent decks? Feels like basically never lol

It’s not an instant loss if you play aggro shaman, nor is it instant loss if you do it turn 2 with a slower shaman, but it doesn’t feel good and certainly doesn’t help your chances

I don’t understand how we’re allowing that class to be the only one with RNG on their HP in times where tutoring makes every deck that much more consistent and RNG independant
It really should not be RNG hero power, that’s all, just make it cycle predictably
If I KNOW when I’m gonna get the health one, maybe I can find some use of it, maybe not. At least I won’t be praying to Lord for a taunt or spell dmg one anymore
Also, maybe make it so it cycles whether or not you used it, each turn, that would be optimal
I would prefer to simply be able to know which totem will spawn when i hit the button. A fixed cycle could be really frustrating if you need stoneclaw or wrath of air every turn.
I xant even count the amount of times i play all my burst damage then burn my last two mana on a hp just to get wrath of air lol
Having a preview of what totem is queued on the hp itself would alleviate those frustrating moments.
It’s the only base HP that is rng, there’s imbue priest and to a lesser extent hunter imbue
To be fair, that’s on you. If you calculated beforehand that after using your burn you would still have 2 mana left, then you should always hero power first.

Now, would it cycle or not, thaat would depend on how strong it is if it doesn’t, and that’s not something I can predict
It has potential to be op, you can just cycle to get to the totem that best benefits you whenever you need it. You’re opponent has 1 minion on board, no hand and can lethal you? Good thing you already cycled to the taunt totem. Or your opponent has a taunt minion(s) with just enough health to survive what you throw at it with your own minions and spells? Good thing you saved your spell damage totem

Which makes the change add some skills where rng used to be, the way I see it, that’s almost always a win
at least give the one offense totem rush, it’s literally the only one wastes a space, the other 3 at least do something
Idk the spell one can be completely useless in decks with not many spells.
You aint wrong, but if i could see the next totem is or isnt useless in a given scenario. Then i would be better equipped to calculate it in instead of always assuming itll be the worst summon.
Shamans hero power can be a “damned if you do, damned if you dont” mechaninc sometimes.
