So I am playing against another DK. I attacked his hero with my weapon to freeze him, however, when it was his turn, he drew the head and it removed the freeze effect oh him.
Is this the way it’s intended to work or is it a bug?

i noticed this happen in one of my games as well. my best guess is it’s a different “character” attacking, so it is intended? but of stuff i’ve tested, that’s not on the roster.
Well if you use the grand torunment legendary card it upgrades your heropower, same hero, just enhanced hero power just like the horseman, I’m pretty sure it does not remove the freeze, so that’s why I’m just wondering if this is a bug or intedned.
I think it’s intended. Dinomancy which changes hunter hp does not change your hero character and thus does not unfreeze the hunter. But Deathstalker Rexarr changes hero character and hp and unfreezes him.
But it makes sense that Deathstalker Rexarr unfreezes, becuase it’s a hero card and when you play it, your changing your hero portrait. All hero cards do this. During stormwind, when I would get frozen by a mage, I would use Beaststalker Tavish to unfreeze my hero and than swing with my weaopn. So all hero cards that change your portrait will unfreeze which makes sense to me.
However, The horseman, If you’re using a DK portait and and get frozen and then play the horseman, sure it would unfreeze. But you the head which adds to discover portion of your hero power gets shuffled into your deck and when you draw it, the only thing that changes is your hero power and your portrait of the horseman doesn’t change. So it should’nt unfreze. But if your hero is frozen and you draw the head it will unfreeze you.
I’m inclinded to bleive that this is a bug, given that there’s currently a bug with the Primus freezing when you discover a freeze weapon, when pirmus isn’t suppose to freeze.
It does change, when you play it at first ot has no head, when you draw the head, the portrait gains a head
Oh does it… I never noticed that. Okay, than I guess it is working as intended.
