Has anyone else found Skarr to be unplayable?

I love his art, and hes an awesome card, but alas, hes not good. Ive tried him in standard and wild, nothing works

any tips?

You know what? I haven’t tried Elemental Mage. The way it’s put together, it looks like a tempo deck that should allow for Skarr to pay off, I’d think. Why is he unplayable?

I’ve actually been playing Mech Mage. I don’t believe my list is optimal, alas. It’s a similar kind of deck, I think. Similar aims.

well elemental mage is good, but skarr is sadly a shaman card

I don’t think elemental shaman is currently very good you could try adding harth stonebrew as a bad back up plan.

Kibler made an elemental shaman deck that is probably about as good a deck as Shaman can currently field.

Its only bad if you get the death night ones, most of the others are great

If you play duels at all, try building an elemental shaman deck with Fireheart.
If you have Skarr, you can build what is basically a curve stone minion based deck, which is extremely powerful.
You can get multiple Skarr copies in buckets, and multiple ways of discounting them to 4 or 5 mana. Add Brann to the deck for more value.
I can consistently get 10 or more wins this way .

I think the skarr as a wincin is pretty good the problem is that nany elements are just super bas. The 5 mana one is good.

He’s a powerful card, unfortunately Elementals are pretty much all just stats, so don’t do too well in today’s meta.

I have a deck based around Skarr and it works pretty well. I think people who don’t have luck with elemental shaman just don’t commit to Skarr hard enough.

Skarr is a good card by itself, and is relatively easy to copy with Cold Storage, but there really isnt a tutor for just Skarr, and the deck feels like it struggles to win without it. Maybe if elemental shaman had some secondary win condition it could be good, or it could just get better through rotation

You tutor with Thealan Fordring. Just cut azerite giant and therazane.
