Yep, switched to my Libram Paladin deck and zoomed to Diamond 5 in less than 24 hours first day.
Turn 4 Libram of Faith is dumb. Infinite +3/+3 is ballin’. I love it.

The meta is the MOST aggro I’ve seen since I started around Badlands’ release. Even the TOP LEGEND is very aggro. Freaking weapon rogue is up there with a ~5min average match time which is at pain lock levels of speed.
Might be a side effect of the Devs sleeping on vacation and maybe people gravitating towards highly optimized small duration matches because: if they can why wouldn’t they save their time?
I suspect a massive nerf hammer very soon.

This explains why I haven’t been able to win a single game. I’m still the lowest bronze you can be.

Nothing explains that. I mean, there are some things that could explain that, but nothing which you’re allowed to say publically without a ban.

Some people aren’t stupid. They just don’t take video gaming seriously to the point their brain shuts off if a game needs deep thinking even if they are very smart in their 9 to 5 job.
Also it’s a video game forum and some posters are just kids naturally.

Yeah, no, being the lowest division in bronze requires something far worse than simply being stupid.

That’s true. That’s the only reason I’d accept which isn’t likely to get me banned, but I’ve certainly seen (and experienced) bans for less than calling someone a child.
What do you mean impossible? Haven’t you noticed the typical “9 to 5 career warrior” how they are very good at their job but if you put them in front of a video game they find excuses to not see it any more than a “joke”?
Also nobody called anyone a kid here but it was mentioned that there is always a possibility that video games are also played by kids.
In fact it’s a good lesson for sensitivity. Some adults talk aggressively to posters as if they always talk to mature adults.

Good. Let the kids learn, in time, that most of their obstacles in their lives will be aggressive managers trying to suck out every little bit of their life and energy just so he could write a better CV and apply for a better position in 6 months from now

Well I’m a couple days late to this thread. Happy new years everyone.
While I, as part of my routine, did get my games in on NY’s, it was mostly a blur. HS is just one of the things I do. Not the top priority especially not on NY’s (when other games have my attention with their NY events 
- maybe take some notes Bliz HS is an old game but maybe you can still put in more effort)
Oh now I remember. NY was the co-op brawl. Well that was ok but not the first time we seen it, though on my 3rd game both the rogue and I knew what we were doing and we exchanged some nice emotes to each other as we smoothly won.
As for rank, that’s still a blur. Nothing too enraging, nothing too endearing. Though just now today I won 3 games with draenei mage (daily was mage), which is kinda fresh.
First game some kind of homebrew recruit pally with a mix of pally stuff (handbuff, some holy spells, hammer of the naruu). Was kinda scared of being overwhelmed early but I answered his turn 5 stand against darkness with excavate blastmage, then I hit my arkwing pilot turn.
Second game vs control priest who lets people wail on them until turn 7 or so and they hope to amanthul/heal/remove everything from there. I did a turn 7 raylla +1 mana spell +primordial glyph. Glyph didn’t give me a good cheap spell that turn but I got supernova instead. This scared him amathul my raylla and a crummy 2 drop, but I was counting on that as the real threat is supernova and arkwing. My supernova didn’t give me strong burn, but the explosive runes it gave me neutered the 7/7 druid elusive taunt he got from amanthul, which made it possible for me to hard cast sunset volley (RNG from babbling book lol) to kill it and summon a factory assemblybot. The summoned bot hit his face. He only hand amanthul on his side and he used his last titan power along with rest of his mana just to remove my board, save for a 2/1. He was at a 4 health.
On my turn, an asteroid from moonstone mauler (discovered off of keychain scarab on turn 1) came and hit his face didn’t even need awkwing.
Third game starship DK. I god curve. I happened to have drink to kill off his bold turn 2 brittlebone buccaneer. Neutral handbuff draenei on 3 hitting an artificer and both awkwings. Turn 5 6/8 artificer. Turn 6 incidinius cuz why not. Turn 7 awkwing (refreshing 6 mana) into BOGOing the incindius (discovered from earlier) and some other stuff. By then he had like no board and I had 5 awkwings plus two incindiuses. Next turn I drew an eruption to kill his board so I basically could only hero power cuz i had full board and don’t want to waste awkwing spellburst. He was left at 1 health anyways and conceded

The matchmaking is horrible. If you are a low tier player there is no reason you should ever be matched against a legend player. Maybe if this game could keep players then they wouldn’t have to match Legend players against fodder. Cant have the sweats in high legend waiting too long for a matchup. Low players should not ever be used to feed any legend players opponents. That is trash. And it does happen before anyone jumps in with the token “MMR is great and that never happens”.

That’s not the problem with the matchmaking because it’s programmed to avoid matching Legend with non-Legend unless it really can’t help it so most low rank players play with non-Legend for almost all of the time.
The problem is that it might be a bit overtuned trying to keep you at ~50% win rate so that they up the average play time of players.
Basically it appears that you can’t have a small win streak without getting a massive increase of opponents’ skill right after that.
yeah for real, the swing turn alone would be too much on curve

Change Time Warp to 3 times per game so that some very fun decks can still be played.
Bring Classic back or add a no changes Wild.
