I was playing Shadow Priest. Was at 30 life, had whittled opponent down to 2.
Next turn.
Haleh + 1/1 copy + mana cheats….
I get that things are kind of at an old school D&D ‘save or die’ place, where the game design isn’t so much about enabling much back and forth as it is a race to each respective ‘enable solitaire + nuke’ button.
But still. Even for Hearthstone, this seems excessive.
Haleh costs 8 getting a 1/1 copy requires a 4 mana card. I cant figure out how he would have played them in the same turn… You let him live too long playing an aggro deck such as Shadow Priest. And also if you thing this is worse than other OTKs like Lifesteal and Mozaki, your crazy.
Haven’t you heard? If you rely on minions to kill your opponent then it’s your fault that removal is super strong and you really had no win condition, you filthy Barrens Priest.
So he played 2 incasters flow, drew Potion of illusion, then played 2 siphon mana? That’s the only way I see Potion costing 0 except for the ink jar, which makes no sense to be run in the deck you are describing. Seems like you simply lost to a highroll, nothing more. Way too inconsistent to be an actual deck.
Also I admit, let was the wrong word. Your opponent simple played what they were given better.
