In my last match of battlegrounds, Grease Bot didn’t buff itself when my minions loose divine shield. This can be an error or a bug from the game?

Grease Bot buffs the minion that lost Divine Shield.
After a friendly minion loses Divine Shield , give it +1/+1 permanently.
If it buffed itself it would say:
After a friendly minion loses Divine Shield , gain +1/+1 permanently.
