I got her too and you’re right, she is pretty. It’s neat that they’re giving out cool hero portraits for free.
Tastes differ, I suppose… I’m personally not much into dead women, but, I guess, de gustibus non disputandum est.
I’m not sure if Tyrande is racially fit for a banshee (that was a thing during Arthas’s invasion of Quel’Thalas and had to do with high elves; incidentally, Tyrande had had more that ten thousand years before that event, so it’s questionable how ‘this fate… was always a danger’, as per her remark in the collection manager) either, or this makes much sense at all. Not that I’m a very big fan of Tyrande or anything, with her ‘friendzoning’ Illidan like that and Malfurion somehow getting those horns (make what you will of it), but I suppose she’s fine to me as is.
I haven’t done any of the event-specific quests on purpose (apart from occasional dailies that just get completed along the way), since the rewards don’t seem that enticing to me, but at this rate, it looks like I might get her as well. Another free portrait for the collection, I guess…
As for Sylvanas, I haven’t bought her even with excess gold, because, first, I don’t care for that Mary Sue (in the banshee form, that is), second, there is Alleria, who is special to me as one of the first alternate heroes in the game (not to mention that she’s arguably pretty and not dead), and also some Rexxar portraits (including that Warsong one which I bought with gold for nostalgic purposes), as well as those free ones for Tavish from another event, so I don’t see much practical use for it, either. For instance, I haven’t bought some portraits from the ‘Book of Heroes’ series with gold, even if I liked the characters, in cases where the portraits were of low quality or unlikely to be used — so why would I acquire ones for the characters I don’t like or want?
I like Liadrin way more anyways, good priest portraits are hard to come by. And I doubt they care about lore consistency with these portraits, I mean look at most BG portraits.
It’s about ‘alternate timelines’ and ‘what-if’ questions, I guess.
I’m not very much into BG, but many of those portraits I’ve seen are more or less variantions on some kind of theme… As for the latest ‘sparkle guardian splendour’ — I’m not impressed by those anyways.
Mercenaries, however, is another matter — although admittedly skins are just art, and sometimes they get reused in another game mode, including this one, where I’ve found out that some portraits come from the corresponding BG arts — and there’s one I don’t quite get: What is Baroness Elise (in Mercenaries)?
Wait a bit, are we talking about (elven) women or girls — who’s the fairest of them all — or class-specific portraits? 
I’m a bit confused.
As for Liadrin, the portrait you’ve chosen for for forum, if memory serves, is obtained from WoW, which I don’t play, so it’s out of my reach anyway. However, with KotFT cards added to Core during the ongoing event, I’ve finally done the Lich King Missions (I’d quit the game when they were current), using some of these cards for the final challenge, and unlocked that Arthas paladin skin — to me, it looks more impressive (apart from that, speaking of alternate paladin portraits, I previously bought Second War Uther — again, with gold, which is how I do it with purchasable heroes… Sometimes purely for the soundtrack from WC3, if nothing else; ironically, that musical piece was added to the Alliance in TFT, when Uther was no longer around, but still…), and Liadrin isn’t my type anyway.
As for priests, well, the original Tyrande was (or maybe still is) given for free to everyone — that’s something already.
I’m not into BG too, I only play it when I get really bored or have to do the weekly quest. Sorry for confusing you, I just meant that I like Liadrin way more than Tyrande.

Well, at least they’re both kinda alive and both can be used for different classes.
