When shuffling an upgraded cheese card back into the deck it resets back to “three 1-Cost minions” even though it was upgraded on previous turns before the shuffle.
Is it meant to reset because it doesn’t state reshuffling the card will reset the progress.
Any card that moves backward into a zone gets reset to its unenchanted version.
The zones backward being “grave”>board>hand>deck
That’s the base mechanic of the game
There are 3 main exceptions
- Cards that explicitely state that they will keep their enchants
- Tradeable cards when moved from hand to deck (even from another source than the trade)
- Cards that actually transformed into another card at one point (If you corrupt a carnival clown, it transforms into a new card, if you play a corrupted carnival clown and bounce it back to your hand or deck, it will remain a corrupted carnival clown. If you activate a nostalgic clown, it will enchant itself. If you play it and bounce it, it will no longer be enchanted, no longer active.

Thank you for clearing that up. Confused me being I don’t play many card games besides hearthstone.
