Essentially, I’m playing the latest Twist format in Hearthstone. I crafted the card “Gnomelia, S.A.F.E. Pilot” and only then was I made aware that the card is BANNED from the format. That was not stated within the crafting menu… Now I cannot get a dust refund for it. This sucks. This super unfair.
I’m not aware of dust refunds ever being given for banned cards.
In general, it’s your job to ensure the card is legal for whatever format you want to use it in, before you craft it.
There is a version of Gnomelia in the Legacy set that is craftable
I would not post here unless I checked. I’m not an idiot and this whole spiel you just threw in here was absolutely unnecessary. I cannot attach screenshots for evidence here - links are also not permitted…
I am viewing collection with the “Twist” format at the bottom left. However, it shows that the card is craftable and when in crafting view the “Banned” sticker is not present. While I did not have this card in my collection, that “Banned” sticker was not there…
Go into the game and check yourself. It says it’s a “Legacy” card, not a “Core” card.
Yes they are, if you’re a bit creative.
Modify the link a little, so it doesn’t technically look like a link.
For example, put a space in the middle of “https”.

It is more convenient to select the link and then press the </> button.

Gnomelia was usable for a while but this was a bug. Blizzard fixed this in patch.
