That would tone down quest warriors oppressive early tempo. I don’t have an issue with the reward or even smite, it’s just the insane early tempo
To rub salt in the wound it’s RNG based.
I’m honestly not sure why the pirates of United in Stormwind we’re buffed knowing the cards that were in the mini set.
That’s easy. They wanted pirates to be op to sell as much of the mini set collection as possible. It’s all about the money.
It’s a pretty terrible business model for a game to intentionally create an unbalanced state.
It works in the short term, but is more likely to lose you customers in the long term.
It’s not even RNG when the damage is Just too high.
Agreed. But when all you see is $$$$$ you don’t think about the overall big picture.
Defias is just the tip of the iceberg.
I have no idea why they thought it was okay to give an Aggro deck a 1 mana 2/2 with an upside, a 2 drop that tutors, 3 drop with insane damage output, a 4 drop with insane value, and buff the 5 mana 4/5 rush.
Oh, and to top it all off, they also reprint Leeroy Jenkins that gives all their other minions charge too.
Insult to injury being that in exchange for their Turn 1, the Aggro deck also gets an infinite value win condition if they somehow fail to kill their opponent by Turn 6.
