Her text is “Battlecry: Draw a Demon. Deathrattle: Swap places with it.” However if the demon she drew is on the board then she doesn’t swap places with it. I believe according to the card text what should happen is that she should swap places with the demon on board on death, then due to her dying lose the “memory” of which demon she was linked to and on her next death actually die. Either that or change the text to something like “Deathrattle: Swap places with it in hand,” probably something more eloquent but that’s just something it could be.
Where you expecting her to just slide on your board and come back to full health ? I don’t get it
Deathrattles trigger after the minion is removed from the board.
So yeah, it does seem like the deathrattle should bring her back onto the board?
Nemsy is destroyed.
Nemsy is removed from the board.
Deathrattle triggers.
Nemsy swaps places with the demon.
Nemsy is now back on the board.
doesn’t make sens for her to be able to come back from the dead pool
then what ?
she dies again
Her DR triggers
then she swaps places once again with the demon that was dead and brings him back to life ?
So if you play both nemsie and the demon she drew, your opponent has to deal twice with the both of them ?
Like you play her, play a 8/8 demon, it loses 6 hp, nemsie dies
the result of nemsie dying is that nemsie is still on the board at base stats but the demon disappeared
you kill nemsie, then a 8/8 demon pops out of nowhere ?
After she dies and is removed from the board, I assume she resets back to the base state, so she would reappear at full health.

But even with that that’s not how minions work when they die.
They DR doesn’t bring them back from the dead, they move the minion from the board to the indicated position.
Pyros for example. The 2/2 certainly dies and is added to the dead minions pool. But that’ sthe same minion from your board that moves to your hand before disappearing (since dead minions don’t retain enchantments). If you trigger the DR without killing it it will not give you a 6/6, it will move back to your hand as a 6/6.
So if you trigger Nemsie DR on board and the demon is in your hand, she will most likely just swap with it normaly.
If both are on board and it were to work to trigger her DR, the minions would swap, unchanged. So when she dies, she will swap with the demon on board, unchanged with her dying state, then would disappear.
The only thing that prevents her from disappearing in your hand is being reverted to her original state when being bumped back to your hand.
But let’s imagine it worked
You play Nemsie
You play the demon
You have both nemsie and the demon on board
- The demon dies first

- Should she bring the demon back ?

I’ll give my reasoning for what I think and some examples of what the board state would look like,
M - minion, N - Nemsy, D - Linked Demon. The way that I think this should work in these cases is like this:

The demon dies first: When Nemsy dies nothing happens, the deathrattle checks for the linked demon and it doesn’t exist so she dies as normal.

- Nemsy dies: M M

Nemsy dies first: The demon and Nemsy just swap places, that’s it. The demon shouldn’t vanish it should just go to where Nemsy was and nemsy to where the demon was.
At this point I could see an argument for either her just staying dead since her health total did reach 0 or her being basically resummoned where the demon was at full health but no longer linked to that demon since she did die so that gets wiped. The next time she dies she will not swap since there is no more linked status left on the card.- Board state looks like this: M N M D

- Second case of Nemsy Dying: M D M
Of course that second case doesn’t mean much for the board but I think it should still happen. It could be relevant for some cleave effects in one way or another. I think that one of those two cases should happen if Nemsy dies while the demon is on board.
