I have been playing since probably the start or close to it.
Coming back after yet another break the game seems even worse than ever.
Battlegrounds is the only thing I can find fun and it has so many flaws that I am pretty much done.
I can not see myself ever spending anymore money here for any reason, There is no fun at all left.

Airports, departures, blah blah blah
I gave up on construsted many expacs ago before of the absurd powercreep.
Now giving up on Battlegrounds as well as the highroll meta is worse than ever. Just lost another garbage game where I ad 93% winning, and opponent had 0,2% lethal. Just clear blizzard forces your loss no matter what you chose.
Idk what we can expect when all the talent from the early days of hearthstone left because of the poor working environment. Now you can tell the staff have little to no experience with TCGs because card text isn’t even worded properly to provide a clear and indisputable expectation of basic card interactions. In battlegrounds, they’re making completely random armor tweaks that don’t make any sense when looking at hero statistics, and they’re buffing murlocs when demons, pirates, and quilboars are all in a garbage state. I’m ok with it because I haven’t spent money on this game in 3 years, and I don’t see any reason to if they’re only going to spend the bare minimum and can’t even be bothered to make a separate forum for battlegrounds.

No problem. There are other players who will spend money. And those players don’t know who Blizzard is or what history they have. And no, they’re not going to do a Google search because ain’t nobody got time fo dat.
Most posts on the forums are “Wah wah wah, nerf this, nerf that, wah wah wah”. So it wouldn’t be any difference to make another forum.
I wish I had written this. I agree with every syllable.
Team 5 is a mess now.

This is why i don’t give money to freemium games unless it’s for cosmetic purposes.
Well written, I’ve been here since beta and have lost all enjoyment from this game.
Is it wise to rehash a 9 month old thread?
Too much change can lead to that. Sorry if you feel any regret but by philosophical principles you should let it go and there it is always for you to come back to, and rummage through the garbage of games to make some fun times again, either way its not unreasonable to react poorly to Blizzard being unable to make a stable and yet inherently fun environment for much time, without people exceeding it and or growing tired but maybe it has been a big push in that direction it just didnt have time to mature and develop properly. Same case with Yu Gi Oh game and others where meta changes constantly and you never enjoy it for years like we are used to with old classic games we grew up with and came back to to find it where it was

good thing they kept nerfing the overpowered mage that has been dominating standard… oh wait… wrong nerf.
must be a blizzard fail logic thing.
Huh? Is this sarcasm? Mage is entirely viable and has, like, four decks right now.
Balance is pretty weird concept and you have different points of view being impose and discussed, sometimes attention is given in all the wrong placed and I dont see this company living forever with decisions being made like this, content needs to be complicated and connected, to have a story and narrative, a world and a way for you to witness the events take place. Just bombarding us with cards is incredibly tedious. At least before, we got some cool trailers and cinematics, an adventure mode with PvE to equip you for PvP where you have a fair pool (poop) which got incredibly and irrevirsibly destroyed by pressing on it until it works. If you can somehow document and present all changes ever made it would be a task for the ages to break it down and understand. Iceberg is simply too deep and we need new technology to be able to access modes and queues like in SMITE or League of Legends, expand outside the box and unfortunately it seems like we may never witness the next generator. Sorry for tant here is potato
i dont get the point of nerfing that 1 mage card since mage has little to almost nothing to defend itself against the current decks that keeps on steamrolling with no effort other than being OP. and your answer is not really helping.
secondly dont get me wrong i like to experiment abit since the meta is just tiring as hell especially when you keep on facing OP decks that you know you are not going to win from. so ima just make a custom mage deck and beat em with some difficulty but as expected the OP decks keep appearing and steamroll anyways and how many games was i playing?? 4 games? 4 games and you get steamrolled in such a way that i dont see the point in playing this game at all. considering my opponents can BS their way through even IF you have the slightest chance of beating em.
so therefore, no point in trying.
you make the least bit of sense.
no offence.
Parrots can still cast Rune of the Archmage because it counts the original cost of the spell. Right? If that’s the case, mage is fine.
I am pretty down on the early turn scam bullcrap that’s pervasive.
Gnoll, warlock summoning and resummoning op undead crap, frost bull, druid playing with twice the mana they should have, etc.
It’s not fun or strategic when the game becomes “I got my cards, you lose.”
