To be fair, for the longest time, if you “tied” with your opponent (by both dieing from the same effect, such as say, hellfire) the UI for hearthstone would always say “Defeat”. It is only in the last year or so they updated the interface to correctly say “Tie” when this happens. Perhaps this is where confusion stems from?
Note, even though the UI incorrectly said “Defeat” in such cases, it was correctly counted as a tie in ranking.
I havent played it in a few yrs, dont think its still in my deck tracker. Will check when I get home in a couple of hours, if not I will reconstruct it and post it for ya.
Ok, not exactly how I built it back in the day, was too long agog to remember card-for-card, and not how I would build it today - tried to keep it as close to the era as I played it in - but heres the list:
Gonna hide the strat so people can figure it out before reading, if they want. Not difficult if you know the cards.
Strat Spoiler
The “win”- con of this deck is:
Setup: Have at least 2x Mistress of Mixtures die.
The combo requires at least 12M, depending on how “big” you go, so requires ET hitting at least 2 combo pieces for 1 tick.
The combo: Embrace the Shadow > Umbra and/or Rivendare > 2x Twilight’s Call > Circle of Healing.
