When I try opening the game, it won’t display the game and all I got is a black screen with a blur orange square in the middle. Mouse icon changes and the games audio comes through, but not the image. Anybody know how to fix this or is it a bug that needs to be patch?

Did you try to “Scan & Repair”? In the BattleNet client there is a cogwheel next to the blue play button. There you will find that option.

Orange screen. Have the same issue on my MacBook m1.
Already tried to run scan and repair, uninstalling the game and rebooting laptop, nothing seems to solve the issue

Can someone help us?
i had the SAME problem, but I just fixed it! I have a macbook m1, and it was not updated to Sonoma. So, I updated my mac, and the game started normally. Hope this can help you ( sorry for my english, its not my mother language)

FIX: disable the game mode from the gamepad icon in the taskbar (top right)
