Hello,
Since July 1st, Hearthstone has stopped working properly on my PC. The game launches, freezes for a few seconds, and then closes by itself.
This issue started a few days after the June 23rd patch, so I believe it might be related to something introduced in that update.
The logs show the following errors:
DBF Asset has 0 records!
GLOBAL DBF Asset has 0 records!
Failed to load config file
UberText LoadCachedData() failed: The output char buffer is too small...
LocalOptions.LoadAllLines() - Failed to load line 1
I’ve already tried everything to fix it:
- Reinstalled the game (5+ times)
- Scan and repair via Battle.net
- Cleared cache, data, AppData, ProgramData
- Changed language and region
- Updated all drivers, ran as administrator
- Tested on a new Windows user profile
I contacted Blizzard Support and after several messages, they confirmed this is likely a bug in the game, and recommended that I post here in the forums so that developers can take a look at it.
My system:
- Windows 10 64-bit
- Intel i3-1005G1
- Intel UHD Graphics
- 4 GB RAM
I’m happy to provide full log files or DxDiag if needed. I would really appreciate it if the dev team could investigate this.
Thank you in advance.
