It’s a well known fact, most people are bad at math. Also, 99% of adults over the age of 51 are gambling addicts. They spend their life savings playing slots machines in Las Vegas and betting money in “games” such as Hearthstone only to realize they can’t retire since they just waisted all their money gambling. Gambling addiciton is a serious problem in our society, as much as Hitler, Hillary Clinton or the HIV virus. These issues pose a serious threat to maintaining stability & sanity in the millenial generations.
Activision/Blizzard entertainment has proven they wish to capitalize on the mental health issues we have a society by creating more degenerate gamblers in society. Their games, mainly hearthstone, is a gamblers addiction paradize. The primary game mode is called ranked mode, and forces players to look up decks in the internet and then play them against each other. The outcomes are simply completely random in the sense that one deck will be better then the other. Another mode, named “the arena” players work in a slot type machine environment where they get random generated cards. The company actively and aggressively trolls its soccsessful players by giving them worse cards to pick from. After the slot machine has spit you out cards, you play against another player who will have many better cards then you do and if you happen to have got good cards, they will not be sent to your hand during your matches. Another key point of cancer addiction is the order in which the game gives you your cards. You can, for example, have one third of your deck under 3 mana cost, and still not draw one of these card before turn 3.
Clearly, due to the games popularity, people do not understand numbers. If they did, they would avoid playing such quote unquote “games” as they are really slot machine, and outcomes are pre-programmed by the manufacturer of the “game” code. See implementation of purchase of “random generated” card packs in the game for microtransaction cost. Another gambling addiction paradise.
