Future Hearthstone Collabs after Starcraft?

Now that pandoras box has been opened ,what collabs do you hope to see coming to this game???

We have the obvious choices coming from other Blizzard IPs like Diablo but i think its not outside the realm of possibility to expect some outsiders.

Here are my personal choices:

1: Diablo
This needs no explaining Blizzard owns the IP and its a a money printing machine for them.

2:Final Fantasy
Previous something in the realm of dreams for me made reality with the upcoming Magic collab.

3: Lord Of the Rings
Perfect fit for Hearthstone, we could even get a cosmetic that would replace the Coin with the One Ring.

4:Harry Potter
Just thinking about all classes getting sorted in Hogwarts Houses brings a tear to my eye, and Demon Hunter off course would be sent to Azkaban as soon as the Sorting Hat landed on its head.

5:Kingdom Hearts
A franchise rich with both Disney and Square lore that would serve as the light-hearted expansion of the year.

6: Neon Genesis Evangelion
We had Colossal cards and even Titans the jump to an EVA unit is only natural.

7:Soul Calibur
Easy choice for a weapon based expansion with Good/Evil factions, Horde classes would get access to SoulEdge while the Alliance would get SoulCalibur.

8: NieR: Automata
You know why this is here , its only fair we get something like this after the outrageous Jaina nerf of old.

9:Fable
The original Fable is full of charm and in terms of art its close to what we have with Heathstone, also helps thats its a Microsoft IP.

10: Voltron
If you are one of the Og players of this game you know why this is here, its high time Blizzard pays them something given this series is part of Hearthstone history.

It was a very dumb idea to even do Starcraft let alone even more franchises. Most players in Hearthstone come from World of Warcraft. You shift away the references from Warcraft: you dilute the interest of the players.

It’s not like Hearthstone can create its own Lore (so it depends on people already knowing the Lores).

Maybe if they did their own GOOD single player mode (make a Paper Mario-like Hearthstone Bliz).

Hearthstone does make its own lore, the turtles people were in Hearthstone first, then wow added them after

I want a one payment option that unclocks the whole game.

Like a $500 option to get you full sets of all past current and future cards.

The awesomely rich game like Microsoft Flight Simulation only costs you $150 each game every 4 or five years.

That’s just a reference and not a lore and I doubt it even had an impact in the wider Warcraft universe. To do good lore you need great single player mode with engaging stories that captivates the players’ imaginations about what could be.

That’s why “Paper Mario”-esque Hearthstone is needed; the cards walk themselves in a virtual World of Hearthstone; they go to Adventures in the depths of Lore.

You re joking right???
We just had an expansion about TOURISTS this game is in serious need of fresh ideas and WOW alone isnt cutting it for the devs if the only thing they can come up with is a holiday expansion episode.

If one of the surveys I’ve seen of upcoming expansion themes is accurate, the tourist and vacation thing will look like classic lore compared to what’s coming.

My point is right after that line …
It was not a mistake it was ALL they had to release lol, they reached the point of total bankruptcy in ideas.

Reason why im happy we are getting a collab even if its with a franchise im not personally invested on.
If you havent been living under a rock for the past 10years and actually play other gachas in the market you know by now that collabs bring a great influx of players to a game and more importantly are cash cows.

And Blizzard needs a big fat cash cow now.

So give the people what they want and make a ton of money out of it???
Nah lol, lord forbid we dilute the sinking ship yikes.

I hope they do collab with MtG and Fortnite to create the ouroboros of crap. I might be gone for good after the rotation because it’s excruciating to play HS atm anyway but if they keep pusing IP mixing past Starcraft (and I am sure they will) that’s me done.

So you think that the solution to the void of ideas is to rehash someone else’s ideas? I mean, yeah, that’s A solution.

As opposed to no ideas whatsoever to a point we send Hearthstone tourist characters on a summer vacation of pure cringe or the rehash of old popular expansions ???

100% yes, i think the lore and beloved characters of franchises outside WOW could be a solution.

In my honest opinion, Hearthstone should only collab with other blizzard IPs and that is it.

Coming from Magic the Gathering, they are going waaaaay too far with their universes beyond and it is extremely weird to see Doctor who and Spiderman in the same IP that has Nicol Bolas.

You know why they pushed universes beyond to standard right???
The consumer has spoken , they are flooding WOTC in money with those releases.

Now you can say they have gone crazy with money lust and released way to many ,valid point that doesnt apply to Hearthstone.

Hearthstone is dying of thirst while Magic is drowning.

The creative bankruptcy wasn’t reached on its own, their decisions were dumb.

Spamming random franchises into the mix isn’t going to solve it.

Its not random franchises its beloved IPs that print money and people cant stop buying.

I agree the ideas lately have been terrible and cringe, but I don’t agree that’s because they’ve squeezed all the thematic areas warcraft has to offer. There is a ton of lore still left to explore if they wanted to. The fact they’ve been coming up with childish and cringe slop is more their own creative failure imo.

I don’t think they intend to make other collabs anyway. If the game is close to bankruptcy at some point, maybe.

Well a Diablo collab seems likely , we already had the Lord Of Terror in mercenaries.
All the other ones i listed above are wishful thinking.

If they make enough money from StarCraft you better belive more collabs will be on the table, if they dont its another nail in the coffin.

Almost all my friends who play Starcraft 2 also play Hearthstone, both games are very good to rest from each other because starcraft is mostly skill and a little bit of luck and hearthstone the opposite…

I think that if they bring new spectacular starcraft art like the image of the ghost becoming invisible and dont caricature the characters they have guaranteed success.
