Frost DK urgh- just why

Yet more stupid solitaire bs.

Blizzard stop printing repeat board freeze decks.

Just played a frost DK who played 4 frostwryms fury’s back-to-back every turn from turn 6.

it’s just frustrating. Can we add a condition to it or tone it down?

Something like one of the following:

  • Cannot be played if you played it last turn
  • add deal damage to a minion (I.e. cannot go face)
  • increase cost to 8-9 mana
  • no other frost spells can be played on the same turn as this.

I don’t want to kill the deck as others enjoy it, but being frozen every turn is frustrating.

Given DK is new it’s a really common match at the moment and it’s super boring to play against

Wish granted. The cards are now just digital.

The card seems fine to me; the broken thing is what I always criticized about freeze in mage: the ability to keep the whole board frozen for multiple turns in a row.

I don’t know how many freeze AoE DK has, but if this is the only one it isn’t really a problem (it is also very expensive compared to what mage could do)

Well thank goodness you were here for pointless semantics

Like, 4 they can run (2x weapon and the horse card), but they can copy and discover lots of extras.

Honestly I would only want it nerfed once other decks are, cause as Frost DK is the only deck I have, (Stopped playing like several expansions ago) I’ve played 5 frost wyrms in one game and still lost, (I’ll give you a guess as to what I lost to) and also have lost several games on turn 6 before I could play it. It may be annoying but I don’t think it’s as powerful as people think it is.

Frostwyrm’s Fury shall forever be immortalised as the horse card.

Thank goodness someone made a pointless post about my semantics, thus making it not pointless.
Also, horse card.

Please stop this off topic nonsense or I will unleash horse card on you both.

Ironically, you too are off topic here. Also, horse card.

No, I specifically made sure to stay on topic by mentioning horse card, which as we established earlier in the thread is a Frost Death Knight spell.

Oh, right, Fixed my posts accordingly.
Also, a horse card.

Technically there are conditions against board freeze → aoe silence like Starfish, but I agree that it feels extreme, when he gets 3+ Frostwyrm’s Fury either from discover or due to the legendary that copys your cards.

You. I like you. But that IS a noogie-able offense.

: P

I think it balances out (cost/effect ratio), and considering the others are fairly weak and there’s no “detrys all frozen minions” like mage has, it just delays the inevitable for those games where you aren’t getting good card draw.

I think only once did it prove useful, but back in the old days (pre aggrostone) hold a board until you could answer meant you still had a chance of responding.

It’s all in good fun, don’t let good natured banter put you in a foal mood.

; )

Hay, we must vote first!

NEIGH, MY BRETHEREN!

Cease this bickering, and be at peace.

Ok, last one for now.

But on a more serious note, as I noted above, the cost ratio factor means someone spent four turns doing 20 damage face (at most), or 5 spread out on the board, and spawning 4 5/5s that could be dealt with easily.

Annoying, sure…but not as bad as some other offenders.

Tone down the only playable dk in an underwhelming underperforming class? Lets make blizzard dig for their braincells they put in the cellar 5 years ago and have them fix whats wrong with the overall game instead. So hyped for next expansion, how fast are the decks gonna be? Turn 3 lethal? Turn 2? Maybe print a card that just wins if you keep it in your mulligan? Urgh. The powercreep just wont stop.

frost dk is not underpreforming…

The class as a whole is.
Frost DK is doing fine but thats like saying warrior is fine because enrage warrior can steal a game here and there.

and? this is about FROST dk not the class dk…

No it is over performing since they overhauled the game to improve that embarrassing class.
