Friend requests not going through

When I send friend requests, I don’t see the message anymore that says “Friend request sent”.

Are there a finite number of requests I can send? I see I have a lot of requests from years ago. I also made sure to delete my friends down to 175 so I am not capped at 200.

I have had about 20 games that were really interesting when I made friend requests. It is highly unlikely that everyone rejected me assuming the requests went through.

What else could be the problem?

There is a finite number of pending friend requests (you sent the request, but they have not accepted/rejected, it is still in their inbox).

You cannot see the list of pending requests in game, but you can view/manage it in the battle.net app.

Friend Settings → View Sent Friend Requests

That message no longer appears but the request is still sent, usually
