I finally talked my friend into coming back to Hearthstone and tried sending him a friend request using his battletag. He said he didn’t get it. I told him to send me one, gave him my battletag and nothing. We tried several times and nothing. We’re both playing on iPads.
Is this a bug due to the new patch? Do we need to reinstall the app?
How many pending (sent but never accepted/rejected) friend requests do you have?
I’m not sure how to check from an iPad. I’ve seen some really cool decks and sent requests to see if the players would give me a copy or the name so I could look it up myself.
Tried googling it and only see solutions to desktop computers.
You can’t access your pending friends list from inside hearthstone itself.
On an actual desktop pc, I believe the best option is to use the battle.net app. I don’t know if this would be appropriate for a tablet/phone. Perhaps the battle.net website?
Apparently, there’s no feature for IPad / mobile users. Ah well, guess we won’t be playing together. Thanks for the help though , much appreciated.
The cap for friend requests is pretty high for any regular player and I just opened up HS on my ipad to check and I can see my friendslist and pending requests in the same menu as I have pending requests. So if you don’t see them from your ipad I don’t think you have any pending.
If neither of you have the actual battlenet client (only the HS app) then I would suggest sending a support ticket on battle.net. A support person might be able to see if it’s a bug or what the reason is. (On battle.net the support button next to your profile on the top right will also let you search a question before opening a ticket)
Sorry for the double reply, I just thought of something. Are you both on different region servers? As in, one in NA and another in EU? You can add friends thru the battlenet client cross-region, but I don’t think you can in the HS client unless you are both on the same region server.
Ah I never thought of downloading the battle.net client!
