Freezing Trap bug makes minions unplayable

I’ve had to forfeit 2 games in the Arena recently after a Hunter caught one of my minions with a Freezing Trap. While minion returned to my hand as usual, with the amount of mana needed to play it being 2 higher and in red font – but then I found I COULD NOT PLAY THE MINION AT ALL. No matter how much mana I had. The minion would simply not respond when I tried to click on it to play it.

Very frustrating.

I’ve never seen this bug before but it’s happened to me twice in the past two days in the Arena.

Acknowledged to be a bug, see workaround in the announcement post until it is fixed:

We’ve also seen reports that minions sent back to hand from Freezing Trap are unplayable. We’re working towards a fix for this in the future, but there is a workaround in the meantime—while clicking on the card does nothing, you can drag on the card in order to play it.
