Former whale, leaving game

The game is boring atm, this solitaire meta is bad, and there are cards that are in half the decks and cards that dont see play. The game isnt fun anymore with this balamcing team, it needs a reverse powercreep asap. So many other games in the market, gaming is meant for fun not as a job. See ya all

What classes do you feel is the worst to play against right now?

Paladin #1 for me, with Druid at 2nd. They buffed Paladin and it’s miserable to play against. What the hell is with the 0 mana three 3/3’s with divine shield and rush? Or 0 mana +3 +3 with recycle to hand crap. For a class “preaching” about justice they’re the most overpowered garbage…

Warlock, a class designed to be “evil” is more fair than that BC. They need to fire the DEI designer of Paladin cause balance was never on the table for them.

Druid just sucks mostly cause it gives the most “highroll” feeling to me. y’know, when they plop down some omega minion well before the mana turns expected for the cards. Aka the last queer who dropped that 6/6 taunt fetch 2 on Deathrattle trigger turn 4 on me.

What’s “whaling” in this game? Getting a gift card in christmas for $80 to buy all the cards of an expansion?

This is probably the least expensive game I know that you can be a “whale” even if it’s p2w too.

I’m a casual F2P in Pokemon TCG Pocket and essentially have everything, aka whale status. Because of that, it seems like this would be the least expensive game to be a whale in. Basically alternate art/cosmetics are the only things for the Paid whales, which is great, far far better system than Hearthstone which limits F2P to 1-2 real/actual decks every 4-6 months and maybe 30-50% of the available cards

I was exaggerating. Obviously there are free games too let alone less expensive games.

I just find it weird to proclaim “whaling” in this game when it’s not that expensive.

Well unless if they buy all the diamond cards etc. That seems wasteful indeed.

I find pokemon pocket has its own issues as a daily player.

Drop rates the amount of dupes you pull on the high end, the cost to obtain certain cards vi the crafting system you need if you want to play a soild deck At 500 points for a lot of those cards and you only get 5 points per opening a pack.

Then the battle system. There’s no real advantage in going first.
You pretty much always want to go second also the decks just feel too small. They should have been 30 card decks instead of 20 cards.

Other big TCG’s like Magic and Yugioh are definitely on the higher cost.
I would say the regular Pokemon TCG is slightly under Hearthstone.
But hearthstone is more accessible as a whole being a digital game.
Pokémon TCG does have its own online play app but it doesn’t really garner much attention. Also the app In my experiences was more buggy than hearthstones till recently.

The Pokémon TCG app also recently combined their free and paid track Battle pass to make everything free.
Which makes me wonder if the app is struggling to create profit an might get shutdown in the future.
