For the love of god nerf Reckless Apprentice

Imbue Mage is so annoying in Wild. Even you try to play around the hero power by having as little minions on the board as possible, you still get blasted by Reckless Apprentice and Sing-Along Buddy spamming 40 or more damage, most of which hits your face since that Sing-Along Buddy makes it all trigger twice with all that damage. Please for the love of god nerf him to only target minions, that way it would at least cut back on the damage that you had a chance to play around it.

Wild is unplayable until they adress this abomination. But it should be done in a way it wont affect standard version, because its in a rough spot.

It doesnt even make sense that Reckless Apprentice works with the imbue hero power since it doesnt target anything lol

I remember abusing reckless apprentice with the Scabbs hero card power and it not making sense with that one either

From what I understand Reckless Apprentice makes Imbue Mage playable, so if anything Reckless Apprentice should added to Standard.

Imbue Mage was already a good deck even without Reckless Apprentice. The last thing we need is that card tormenting Standard too, during a time where the Standard meta really sucks.

Made a post about this as well, people here seem to think just because it’s Wild that means that certain decks should be the most frustrating thing in existence. I’m fine with wild having crazy shenanigans but when a decks only counter is to kill them by turn 5 or lose it’s not good for the game

How is imbue mage worse than the decks that kill you at turn 4?

Both combo and aggro decks that kill in early turns in wild like shadow priest or drakka/alexstrasza rogue, ysiel/barnes druids have counters decks, which are not very playable/viable thanks precisely to another type of poorly designed decks that go beyond everything established and have nothing more than very specific counters like quest warlock, the extinct unuguru questline mage and now this thing, that its degree of inevitability is absurd, i think some mages are become so toxic because blizzard imposed this style on them, you can see that they do not care if the game is broken just for boost their winrate as long the craziness its allowed and people like zeddy who exploit them while they can are not far behind, knowing perfectly how unfair it is…

I have disliked this card since it was released and do not believe it should hit heroes.

It’s not about being invincible or slower, but rather avoiding giving free rein to solitaire-style decks, and this deck punishes fair board decks a lot…

I completely agree with the author. This deck is a cancer in the wild. Losing from it for slow decks is as inevitable as it is absurd!

Sounds like someone never played against paladin with the horseman combo…

Not gonna lie.

What should be adressed is the combo with the mech actually.
But that would mean banning the 2 mana mech for a year from wild and when it returns It would cost 3 mana instead of 2.

Unless you consider braan also a problem. Then you have to change the text of the robot to only when the player use the hero Power.

Well, considering the combo is in arenas now, blizz might be leaving it in on purpose. You know, as a prank.
