When you play Flint Firearm in Ranked Standard using Splendiferous Whizbang, no effect is triggered by Flint’s battlecry. Nothing happens.
It would not because there are no cards with the QuickDraw keyword in standard, so there are no cards in this set it can pull.
Wouldn’t that be considered a bug since Flint Firearm is no longer in standard except within the Whizbang Deck?
There’s no lackey in standard yet the warrior deck is able to generate them
i agree
its bugged
please fix this blizz
The cards generated by the Lackey keyword don’t exist as collectible cards. It pulls from a list tied to the Lackey keyword and is not like Flint, which pulls from the list of collectible Quickdraw cards, which don’t exist in standard. So not the same.
It’s no different than when you play Mystery Dispense-O-Bot in arena, when there are no secrets in the available arena sets. It, not surprisingly, gives you nothing.
It gets in the way of having fun
So its a bug until blizzard says otherwise
Yes but arena is not designed with premade decks meant to generate wild cards, unlike Standard with precisely Whizbang. Mind you they never acknowledged (to my knowledge) that Dispense-O-Bot’s behavior was intended
Despite, “Battlecry : generate a card that doesn’t exist” sounds like a bug to me. More than changing Flint’s behavior they can simply update the decks and replace the card
Is there a way to directly notify a Blizzard support team member or developer about this bug so we can get confirmation that it’s being looked into?
Well that’s what that forum is here for
It’s been memed about that they never look at it but recently they visibly dedicated one ressource to come here now and then with Vyraneer
Maybe others do but they never reply to the threads (Vyraneer has replied to more threads in a month than I’ve seen all mods do in years)
I believe you can try to reach to them through reddit or X (but you have to know the devs’ accounts for that)
Some content creators also have some reach with the staff members so they can be a media but not really on demand
