Not normally my style to make nerf threads, but no ones really saying anything.
APM Mage in wild is so ridiculously toxic it causes me physical pain. It and secret paladin are currently the big red flags on my nerf radar, but I believe sword of the fallen will be nerfed soon due to standard anyway, so onto this broken bs.
Without nerfing any standard cards and hampering mage in standard which is fine outside of deck of lunacy, I really think flamewaker deserves to be gutted like the filthy dirty fish it is.

At the very least you can interact with secret mage and tech against it to some degree, thereās literally nothing you can do against an APM mage if it draws decently.

Reflecting on this a bit though, I think I see your point. Mage has incredible access to cheap spells and discounted spells (making spells even cheaper.) If they have a hand full of 0-1 cost spells and you donāt have a full board, youāre going to be punished.
I think OTK decks have their place in Hearthstone. Itās a valid win con thatās as old as time. However, you can usually spot them coming. They usually take some time to set up. It takes time to gather the pieces.
An OTK by T-4 is insane and unhealthy - even by Wild standards. (Yes, wild has standards.)
And to further this point, I donāt think Iāve ever seen you ask for a nerf. As a matter of fact, Iāve debated with you whether or not a card needs to be nerfed. Youāre very good about gathering the proper data, following the stats, and presenting an objective argument.
Nerf threads are a common occurrence. A nerf thread coming from you? Thatās worth paying attention.

Spoken like someone that has never played Wild. If you donāt play Wild, why are you commenting on a thread that is for Wild format?
They need to make into a Spellburst minion OR have each spell go up in cost for the effect to trigger, playing 12+ discounted cards is not an issue for mage, especially in wild.
I think damaging only minions would keep the flavor of the card, keep it playable, and make it not so miserable. I think thatās a reasonable request.
