Fix shudderwock shaman in wild

So boring to fight against, namely with saronite chain gang being unnerfed. Impose a limit in battlecries (10) and prevent macaw from redoing shudders battlecry

Yes because fighting a face hunter is also so fun!

When I stand against my opponent on the field of battle, weapon drawn, ready to fight to the death, I expect my opponent to ensure that I’m having fun during the fight. It’s his responsibility to look after my happiness.

Me, responsible for his happiness? Are you crazy? I’m trying to win here.

I’ve been running more Rogue decks in wild for this very purpose so that I can have Flik Skyshiv. Sure, it’s sometimes an incredibly expensive removal and/or dead card for the cost - but it’s a pretty good way to end their infinite party.

It’s funny you posted this because I was wondering if some streamer or youtuber featured a Shudder deck in the past few days because it has REALLY picked up.

If shudderwock animations were fixed, it would be better
(I assume you can still stall 10 minutes per turn just by spamming shudderwock)

I can confirm such Demons still torment the wild ladder.

The amount of battlecries shudder repeats should have a limit on it. It’s one of the decks that make me hate wild and stay far away from that garbage mode. If it ever comes back to standard that’s game over till it leaves again.

I thought it was capped at 20, did I create this memory?

from the wiki:

  • Shudderwock’s [Battlecry] can reproduce a maximum of 30 [Battlecries]
Shudderwock’s Battlecry cap is now 30, up from 20."

it’s basically a cap to avoid infinite turns, because who would play more than 30 battlecries anyways?
But it’s not doing the job of keeping in check the duration of 10 shudderwocks per turn :joy:

Maybe it is, I don’t know. I’ve never counted them when watching Hobbs play in wild. If it is capped at 20 then I think it should be half that, or at the very least change it so shudder can’t repeat the same battlecry more than once.

Edit: ok I didn’t know it had a cap. Thanks for looking that up. Still stand by it needing some tweaks.

I played my longest game ever that way. I had Armor Vendor giving us both armor. It was just really painful to figure out how to get through 3 Taunts to Kill Kel’Thuzad.

Finally my opponent played AOE when I needed one turn without Shudderwock to put down other minions, and they killed him off themselves.

Game lasted over an hour.

It’s a scumbag card for reprobates that enjoy playing scumbag decks.
I’m sorry you have to face it. I dont see it too often but when I do I’m sure to rope and BM them as much as I can. Losers.

You know you waste your own time too, right? It’s not worth to spend it on every a…

Anyway, I hate Shudder too when he gets rolling, but he rarely gets going. There are far worse decks in wild imo.
