Special Notes
Frenzy is an effect that triggers the first time a minion survives damage.
Does FitB mean “fill in the blanks?” If so, what are we supposed to do here? I don’t understand the purpose of all these posts.
aren’t new cards usually posted to the forum like this for discussion purposes?
also, “Forged In The Barrens”

Oh, that makes sense. Forged in the Barrens. And you’re right. People have made these threads before.
The FitB is what threw me off.
I personally think we have to wait to at least see the full Core set before we can start discussing the new cards. So much in Hearthstone is about to change.

Seems rather bad, since it needs to survive damage in order to get the effect most of the time it will just be a useless 2/3.
this card says neither “work, work” nor “me not that kind of orc”
trash card tbh. XD

i see enrage warrior making use of frenzy quite a bit. i can aslo imagine hitting my own minion with the mage’s hero power or small spell to trigger the effect. broom granting rush will be another class-neutral option for frenzy effects.
Dragonmaw Overseer finally gets a real peon to torment…“YOU lazy PEON!”

Garbage pack filler that makes a mockery of a most classic and loved Warcraft unit.
Making it have Frenzy makes absolutely no sense since these guys just run away from attackers.
It’s the Alliance workers who would go to the town hall to suit up and fight in Warcraft III.

The frenzy effects need to be stronger. The ones I’ve seen so far don’t justify spending an extra 2 Mana as mage to activate them, or use cards to a activate them in warrior.
Samuro is good.
With Inner Rage, 4 mana and 2 cards gives a 3 damage board clear and 3/5 Rush is the sort of thing Warrior is looking for after losing Risky Skipper.
With Libram of Wisdom , it’s a 2/3 damage clear with a 2/7 or 3/8 Rush.
If people could manage running Inner Fire in Priest, it’s the Jackpot with 6/6 Rush and 6 damage to the board.
2/3 for 2 is decent body and its give a free spell. Wandmaker was used in a lot of deck and only gave 1 mana spell with a 2/2 body , peon is a powercreep from that.
You only get the spell if the minion survives damage, right? So it’s not really likely to go off.

If it’s played on curves, its actually quite likely. Like, lets say you play it turn 2 against paladin. Paladin has no 3dmg minion at turn 2 , all his minion are usually 1 or 2 dmg unless he buffed them. Same for DH. Same for token druid. Same for priest. Same for Shaman. A lot of class don’t run 3 dmg early minion. and in class like Paladin that can buff, its even easier. Beside, even if you don’t get the spell, its force opponent to use a removal on it and lose one card / tempo in a lot of cases. and in some class like warrior, its super easy to get the spell.
If it was a battle cry, it would be broken tbh. The frenzy effect add counterplay.
I think it’s pretty inline with a vulpera scoundrel, though for 1 mana extra with scoundrel you are guaranteed the spell and get to pick from 3. This is more situationally based, if the meta is full of 2 drops that can’t kill this in one hit, and people aren’t running much burn spells then it is kind of good.
Since I used scoundrel a lot in a control shaman, I guess you’d noteably have to consider that some of my discovery options weren’t very useful at all.
