Yes, we all know that you consider just about every other deck in the game to be p2w, but can’t you just be happy that OP achieved their goal without having to snark at them for no reason?
He actually can’t. Shakuo was born with a condition called happiness envy. For just seven cents a day you can help shakuo and people like him have a place to meet others who are having fun, and yell at them. Won’t you help them?
I usually get a lot out of Shadowjeweler to be honest, I just try not to play a bamboozle when I use him, redemption, pack tactics, spell ended, shadowstep help keep him out there
Congratulations. I really like the way rogue plays this expansion and the only card I’m truly missing in standard is Tess. I am hard stuck at platinum 1-5 as someone who’d consistently hit above rank 5 in the old ranking system, though I care not about it. I only wish I wasn’t so deprived of cards to experiment with this expansion. In fact, my collection has never been in worse a state than it is now; nothing to play with to its maximum efficiency, standard or wild and no headroom for experimenting.
I keep disenchanting my Preparations because I cannot and never did find any use for them. I am of firm belief that they need to be substituted so that your winrate may go up even higher. As for legendaries and on the subject of p2w: Flik, Heistbaron and Hanar, are must have legendaries in Galakrond and highlander decks. I, for example, only happen to have Heistbaron Toggwaggle (which I had to craft recently because…unlucky). As a Warlocker -with tenure, I of course first crafted Ebonlocke. I just had to have him; otherwise I had seriously considered crafting Hanar and dust some more for Flik as well.
I’m not saying, of course, Galakrond Rogue is p2w. Paying to win and paying to play are inherently different things, and cheap(er) decks tend not to fall too far from the legendary tree. Increase in the enjoyment factor and success rate of m.e.t.a. (most efficient tools available) against meta, however, is clearly there. Can you argue with the fact that not having Hanar or Flik or both means you’ll be less successfull and matches drag longer and not in your favour either?
Maybe highlander decks could be considered conceptually pay to win but even they fell from grace, with the introduction of gawk gawk gawk. Nowadays it’s probably the least safe and consistent archetype.
Some people choose one or two classes to play and actually grind out legendaries, me I have paid 100 dollars to the game in 3 years of playing so I guess it is p2w. Most of my cards I grinded for legendaries
I almost questioned this deck until I figured Togwaggle’s Scheme was for one of the legendaries. I was hoping this wasn’t to avoid fatigue because that doesn’t exist anymore.
I have actually optimized the deck more to my style of play, pulled out a 26/26 Edwin turn 4 against a big Druid deck recently with this one which left me highly satisfied. Of course the draws that make the happen is not normal
