Considering there are so many extremely strong cards and Warrior hasn’t seen too much light except for odd shouldn’t this card see a reversal. What are your thoughts on this?
blizzard doesnt undo things, they make sure that they are never at fault for why something isnt working, they will always tell you that its the players fault
Sure if they change it to it can’t attack heroes, same as blade flurry costing 2 mana but without doing hero damage but sadly instead of really trying to balance said cards they can keep them dead and have the “promise” of space desing open for future cards.
While I can see why they hestitate on making a 2 mana deal 6 (To face), 3 mana for a 3/2 vanilla weapon is trash.
It should at least be :
2 mana
3/2
Can Only attack minions
That would be entirely too confusing for the playerbase. We cannot trust them to do complicated tasks like understand words written on cards, especially when they aren’t used to certain words being written on certain cards! It’s far easier to change single numbers.
Instead they can keep doing confusing new ones like “upgrades every turn” when in reality it only upgrades on every of the owner’s turns beacuse reasons XD
Less than 3!
My gosh Blizz…it’s a strategic card game.
That excuse was so…ugh I don’t have the energy.
“hey this is a game where you look up or build decks and think about trading and predicting your opponent’s decklist and mulligan for your class. Is reading cards and learning a change too advanced on the real?”.
Assuming the average player can’t quick look at a card and see the text had changed like “gain 3 armor” or w/e…but is apparently just-fine calculating if it’s worth it to trade off a minion or not…or launch a rando fireball to face early on or so…make sense?
How could you even think about deckbuildling, mulligan, playing out a deck, predictions, if you can’t get-adjusted to a card doing one thing differently?
And if someone come’s back and forgets in the decklist the card changes…so they lose one match over it and then start to learn the mana cost got upped? I think that’s perfectly ok for the tradeoff of having a worthwhile card still.
3 mana 3/2’s are unplayable unless they have some redic effect (such as give your minions divine shield and win from that setup).
Nobody plays FWA, and isn’t it ok / ideal to have different classes have different strengths? Let Warrior’ have an outstanding anti-aggro card, and balance around that…key phrase…such as no-small time buc….or really strong 1/3 cost pirates that can curve oh-so-well with a 2-mana big axe.
It’s like they just don’t visualize how to balance around certain classes’ strong-cards…WG/Nourish/FWA/Old-Innervate (fine, this one was too-limiting to balance around…like card-draw cannot happen alongside it like it did for a period (member when druids were like 4/5 matches couple summers ago?) and now Hunter’s Mark.
Balance around the Classic set…don’t one by one nerf some of them. I don’t think anyone feels bad playing an expansion-card that get’s nerfed compared to what used to be a build around with Classic.
To be honest, that isn’t too far off from the truth about how a significant portion of the actual playerbase plays. I’m sure you could find several examples on this forum where the person complaining having read the cards in question could have solved the entire issue.
