My highest cast card was an outcast card in the outcast slot (right most edge) and when it cast the spell it didn’t trigger the outcast effect.
Outcast requires that you play the card.
“Play” has a specific meaning in hearthstone: it means to drag a card from your hand to the battlefield and pay its mana cost.
If a spell is cast or a minion is summoned any other way, it was not played.
So you did not play the card; it was cast by Felwalker on your behalf.
