Feedback on Battlegrounds and Time Warp Nerf

Battlegrounds without buddies, spells, anomalies, and quests were and are so boring. I have not played BGs in a while because you scrapped all the fun by removing what was mentioned and left just boring, slow-paced BGs games that were not fun.

Now with anomalies, it is fun, but I have a problem. Some anomalies are seriously so boring and unfun, I just concede every time I see a boring one. I also concede every time your RNG offers me a really bad and not fun hero to play. If your goal is “FUN,” how come there are so many unfun things in your game left unchecked, or are you doing it on purpose?

Half of the roster needs a total rework. Some heroes are S tier and their hero powers are fun, some are extremely bad and unfun, F tier. I just want you to know, I concede every game when you offer me a boring and F tier hero, also when an unfun and boring anomaly is in a lobby. I do not care about the rating since it is a rigged game, I am here to have fun.

I also noticed how you fixed animation speed in BGs, which led me to question, why couldn’t you do this with TIME WARP? Because the biggest complaint was that people just stare at animations and cannot do a thing when the opponent pulls a time warp combo. I have been playing since 2014. I really lost all motivation to play this game and spend any money when you just nuked and destroyed a 35k dust deck into cinders for no reason.

The once per game mechanic is toxic and removes all the fun from the game. There is WILD mode for a reason, all cards can be used and should be left that way. Balance standard, rework cards for standard, but why do you always have to ruin the fun of WILD games?

Please remove boring anomalies, offer more fun and S tier heroes, and remove the once per game mechanic, bring back my beloved TIME WARP.

Fun is subjective. How do you regulate fun objectively? I agree that some heros need a rework or to be cycled out when they don’t fit the meta. What anomaly do you find boring? What heros do you think need to be reworked?

Imo the rng balance is what needs improvement. The difference between high rolling and rolling trash is too far apart which to me means the tribes and synergies are too unbalanced. We have all played games where we refresh a t6 tavern thirty+ times and never find the card we need to upgrade our situation.

But then again this is my view of fun. I find a game that is 80% skill and 20% luck way more fun than vice versa.
