Now, I know this meta has been… Umm… memorable but I had to ask the question. Which decks have been your favorite and least favorite this meta. After the so called “balance” update. The mini set is right around the corner and my curiosity arouse. I’ve tried almost every meta deck but have been using a Yogg Secret Libram for the most part. Currently I have a Miracle Rogue, Control Priest, Spell Mage, Face Hunter, and Rush Warrior. I’ve been using the pally the most. As for the OTK Demon Hunter. I haven’t gave it a go. Is it worth it? Remember, my post is just looking for people’s opinion. No need for negativity. On this post at least. Thank you.
Miracle rogue by a long shot. Pop off turns and combos are my bread and butter.

I’m having a ton of fun with Secret Rogue. Deathrattle DH is also pretty cool, because smashing people in the face with 8/8 demons is very satisfying.
I’m always in love with aggro/face hunter. Never leave home without it. But I’ve really enjoyed mage and warlock this season so far. Being free to play I haven’t gotten any chances to play rogue, warrior or druid. Which I would love to rock a rush warrior but it’s just mad expensive.
I’m having some fun with spell damage mage, right now. I still can’t say that I have a favorite, yet. Maybe that’s a bad sign.
My very own list of Freeze Mage with Spell Mage draw and Hero Power Mage finish, the nerf to Refreshing Spring Water did hurt the deck a bit but its still Legend worthy.
My least favorite is anything Demon Hunter , i realy dislike the class and it doesnt help its my worst matchup and the new 8/8 they got is pretty much King Crush 2.0 that ignores even freeze mechanics.
It would be Hero Power Mage, if it had any consistently reliable tools to beat Paladin, Warlock and Hunter, but it doesn’t. Still, Mordresh by far has the coolest animation, and the 10 dmg to everything is incredibly satisfying. Second favorite is Miracle Rogue, I tried it after reaching Legend and I must admit having a full board of 5 mana minions at turn 6/7 never gets old, neither does a 32 damage Alex OTK.
This is definitely my second favorite.
What I most enjoy playing currently is Rush warrior. Sadly I don’t have rokara or samuro, but it’s still not bad at the lower ranks of standard. When I want to relax I just play it.
The loss of those is definitely a big hit to the deck as they’re the major power plays, Especially Rokara alongside Playmaker if a minion sticks or you drop a Warmaul Challenger. What are you using in those slots?

This is what I can make. Decided to cut the murlok, because of no etc, got only 1 playmaker and challenger. Decided to not put tent trasher because of that. Cutting class is pretty much always 2 cost. And put Gromash instead of alex for suprise burst. I’ve hit people with 16+ damage with it. It makes the deck less reliable vs agro, but helps with unwinnable matchups. The deck is very unfavoured in the mirror, because of the lack of Samuro and etc.
Kingsbane and Murloc decks.
Selfmill warlock in standard, cute lock and even hero power mage in wild. Ton of fun with each deck, and I’m hoping for some selfmill love later this year
(We got rustwix last miniset so I’m not expecting anything big warlock related in this one, even odds whether the commons/rares will be related to the archetype)
Please tell me “cute lock” isn’t a typo for “cube lock.”
It isn’t: https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/cutelock-2/
Elemental Shaman. ![]()
I do rather love Hero Power Mage as well! So much so, in fact, that I replaced my active Odd Mage deck with an Even Mage centered around Hero Power synergy in Wild as well. ![]()
It is a very fast variant combining the Discard and Sacrifice Warlock archetypes, named for the number of cute cards it runs. ![]()

Thanks! Nothing like killing your own penguins to show your minions who’s boss!

My favorite deck so far is Murloc Paladin. It’s tough to choose. I recently tried Big Priest out and its fun to have something to fight secret mage and all the aggro decks. Odd warrior is kind of unique where you can go for board clear, card draw, and massive armor buildup until your opponent runs out of steam.
upon release I actually had a beast druid deck, and it was pretty solid til the decks for more refined, recently my Taunt Death Rattle is pretty fun, just sucks if I vs Mage/Shamen that ruins my deathrattle/walls minions…
Oh and can’t forget Cel’thun Druid, that was a fun 1.
