Im playing face hunter at the moment. Is there any chance to beat a priest with this deck? If yes how? I only won against pries one time on the lower ranks and the opponents was rather bad…
Yes. Run silence. You have to close the fight out early and go straight face… even then, you need a perfect draw and they have to draw bad.
But if you run silence, and mulligan for it, you’ll have better odds.
The problem is face hunter is so hell bent on face that they don’t want to run silence.

Pretty much what Schyla stated. Your only real chance outside of ‘draw odds’ is to tech in silences to hit some combination of Ziliax, Waterbearer, and Khartut Defender.
With all of that said really think about the balance on this as a whole. Does adding in silences (probably 2x the 4/3 guy for 4-mana) hurt your other matchups more? The Priest match-up is one that you might just want to write-off at it’s current play level (although that is increasing)

Hey guys, thanks. You are right, I just played around 10 games and there was only 1 priest in those, luckily also only 1 warrior. So I had a pretty good run and the Spellbreaker would have caused more problems than he actually helps in the other 9 games. So I just write off the priest games, as long there are not too many. Luckily they seem to be weak against anything but warrior and hunter, so hopefully I meet these guys not too often.
I run owls in my Face Hunter. However even that doesn’t help the priest match up much. I’d say it helped me beat a cpl more but ultimately they can still out heal and remove your board most turns and not enough silence to deal with defender after defender or infiltrator after infiltrator. It is possible to win but getting the hand you need isnt always gna happen.
I find at rank 5 and higher most players can deal with face hunter quite well. Plus I’ve played like 10 priest alone just today.
So owls are not recommendable? I imagine that face hunter gets more difficult on the higher ranks but I have little dust and I m afraid if I now craft a pirate warrior e. g. they will be out of meta again in 2 weeks.
10 priests out of howmany? I had 10% priest today (1/10).
I wldnt say the owls are bad they have gotten me thru some taunts quite a bit. Just against priest they bring theirs back a million times lol. I’m not sure exactly how many games cuz I don’t use a tracker any longer. But I played all day so at least 20+ games and lost most haha but I stopped playing face hunter to mess with other ideas.
Face hunter wins 20%. I just lost twice in a row to them as priest deck because I had nothing for 5 turns. All high drops in hand. Surprised face decks dont beat this deck up more as its so greedy
None of the priests I faced today were that unlucky lol. Every game was infiltrator on 4 or 5 and defender on 5 or 6. Depending on if they have the coin and what they want to put down. Then it always follows the waterbearer and they just healed all my damage away haha. I may be one of a few that actually thinks face hunter is fun haha. I’m gna play another 20 games with it tonight when I’m off work. I don’t even care if I win. I just got to rank 5 for the first time ever and I’m enjoying myself now haha.
I mean an archetype that unironicly plays leppers is bound to be fun.
you may win one game out of seven, or maybe out of ten if you draw perfectly and priest doesn’t get his waterbearer , penance.
