Evolve shaman is op

no counter, just spam little guys and win with cheap weapon coming back over and over again. Not even mention ooze cuz that card messes up your deck structure

Every time Shaman gets a sniff of a viable deck it gets nerfed into Oblivion.

Shaman needs to be left well alone this expansion

ooze messing up your deck structure has to be the worst excuse not to run that card i have ever heard.

All the Shaman posts remind me of how people talked about Paladin last expansion. The class was in the dumpster for so long that it having okay cards now makes people think it’s op by comparison.

unless you play pure pally. And Ooze doesn’t prevent Shaman from evolving his whole board at least once, which is enough to put you in a very bad spot.

OH NO!! A really strong deck having a draw back? how unfortunate.

And thats true ooze doesn’t prevent a shaman from evolving their board. But its very rare that a freshly evolved or revolved board will have all charge minions. If you can hold the tempo and have a minion advantage you will easily win. Evolve mechanic is entirely useless if there are no minions to evolve.

Pure isn’t that strong compaired to penflinger. Paladin by itself has limited draw card and no big win condition like the old god. Y’rel is just another way to heal, but what can you do against deck that slam Yogg and eat all your minion, tickatus warlock that ll mill and control you to death or clown druid ?

Also, I v seen shaman going from a 0 board minion to 5 evolved minion including mogu after turn 6/7 . With the rabbit , tour guide and the new cards it’s possible.

well i just lost to a warlock, and a mage before that

Evolve shaman seems like a really high roll deck. I’ve seen it be amazing and I’ve seen it never get off a single evolve.

Yep or evolve revolve into a doomsayer or depth charge

It is if you look at the actual minions, evolving can be really risky. There are so many garbage 5 drops right now (sky fin, big game hunter, chromatic egg, waste warden, skyfin, sand obelisk, the list goes on for like 18 minions.)

I’m personally against running Ooze in a deck (this is, after all, a pretty bad tech card), but from what I’ve seen when it was used against me, it DOES screw up Evolve Shaman’s game plan quite a bit.
Playing Boggspine Knuckles is fairly expensive, and the strategy usually needs both hits (more or less one to stabilize, the second one to pull ahead).

I still think that if you need to use Ooze to target one deck, you’d be better off switching to another deck that has a better matchup against it.

If you really want to hold onto your current deck and must tech for the matchup, I think Kobold Stickyfinger is a better fit. It’s more powerful when it hits, its mana cost aligns perfectly with Boggspine Knuckles, and it’s a decent evolve target.

…and once you tech against it your match ups will change instantly to something your not teched against.
you cant hide whats in your deck from the game because thats how you are matched up.
