But now, in every damn game, it’s like the person I’m playing against always plays every single card perfectly in a row, or the priest gets from imbue 7 turns of dealing 3 damage and healing you by 3, with a 12-point heal thrown in between…

There is too many cards that flood the board and too many cards that clear them out. The gameplay now seems to be one person puts down cards while the other person has an answer for every card they put down until eventually one person draws bad.
The answers are all baked in so every card seems perfect. There is no trade off every card does one or two beneficial things every turn.

The game is completely fake and a pile of smoking garbage. Thousands of players have realized something isn’t right, and Blizzard doesn’t allow any outside company to verify that everything is working properly. Does it have something to hide? Blizzard bots in the arena that kick you out by playing the right card at the right time, turning the game around? Who knows…

The game is literally playing out like it did at launch. Curvestone 2.0. Did you suddenly forget that?
Streamers that need to play it because it pays the rent, if there moronic chat didnt pay them to play this game, it would die a slow and deserved death.
The people you vs -
Someone you easily beat (star streaks from bronze or you just bought some stuff)
Someone you easily lose against where they draw spot on each time (Mostly when ranking) or (the game has rank locked you)
Someone who will delay you on purpose and annoy you
Someone who will destroy you in gimmicky embarrassing ways such as 1hp endings (Mostly when ranking) or (the game has rank locked you)
Someone who has purchased every expansion under the sun, has pets and golden legendries who has cards you don’t have. Who will also likely win in the vain hope you visit the shop.
That’s how it works and has always worked. Its the same in all their other games. They manipulate their algorithm to make you believe its all skill. When in reality the odds are already decided.
What do you mean by game has rank locked you? As in when you hit your 10/5 and are safe from de-ranking but on a loss streak?

it is where the game secretly keeps you at rank 5 or 1 with this 1 for 1 deal. (Another way of stopping you getting to legend at diamond for example)
You win 1 you lose one. I can’t possibly be the only person who has experienced getting to either rank 5 or rank 1 seamlessly without loss. Then end up on a lose, win repeat system by bumping into weird gimmick plays. Such as prolonged animations, roping, board freeze every turn, boar priest by turn 5, 40 spell damage to face, board clear after board clear after board clear etc.
Its the get a star lose a star scenario.
Another way they do it is just by making you go on a loss streak from 1 back to 5 an keep you there for ages.
Its done as a way of saying “Look how close you are, if only you just had another push to get there, maybe visit the shop?” when technically most decks you play are perfectly fine and can be legend easily.
That game is scripted too.
While I agree that the current meta is really dull, it is because it is just basically curvestone atm. I miss the time of reno decks really badly lol, even the non reno decks in those meta were more interesting to me.
The rest of the stuff like people saying its decided or whatever just suck at the game. I get to legend every month without any effort at all and have ever since they stopped making it be the super grindy years ago. And even in legend I don’t think i’ve ever fallen below 5k even playing nothing but off meta but mostly in top 1500. You can have streaks of bad luck or good luck, but it averages out if you play a decent amount of games. There is no algorithm to make you lose just because you are about to hit legend or some nonsense. And you can not claim that I am paying them either since I am completely ftp and have been since I started the game like 9 years ago.
Hahah yes, you get to legend without any effort at all because the decks play themselves based on draw. How is that an argument against people saying its decided from draw?
They are literally saying they can’t get to legend because the game is decided. As I said it is curvestone atm like it was back when game was new. If you have the curve you do well, if u don’t u can’t do much. At least if you can play the game decently.
Of course it’s decided. The RNG chooses what you draw, The game chooses who you vs. The RNG chooses what your opponent draws. It chooses what they discover. You have about as much control as a slot machine and its nuts to say this doesn’t effect the outcome of the match.
That’s how every card game works. Its like saying people just suck at poker for not knowing what cards where given to their opponent. Except in this case its a digital card game so the code can be anything they want it to be.
While there is some degree of if you draw literally nothing you can’t win, there arn’t that many games that are completely decided by draw. The opponent has to have perfect cards and you have to have nothing at all in order for your actions to have no consequence. This does not happen that often. I end up winning many times because opponent makes the wrong decision either in going too far in, or holding back too much.
You are literally basing the entire gameplay on what deck you play and when you play your cards. I will win 10 games with ease then hit a brick wall and I can assure you no matter what order I play what’s In my hand, you can guarantee the opponent has an answer to shut it all down..perfectlyyy. These may not be common for you, but I get these once every 2 games.
(Play a minion with 3 health, deal 3 damage) (play a board of taunts, silence all minions or ignore taunt) (play a weapon, destroy a weapon) (get lethal, frost shield to reno) (play secret deck, eater of secrets which is in 1 in 10000 decks) (Play clear, draw no clears) (Play aggro, vs someone with a hand full of clears) (play out a big minion, remove a minion from the game)
It always lines up perfectly. Its not like deal damage an its still alive, its not like oh I need a board of my own to deal with this. Its always one card plays shut everything down. If you have a board it gets wiped, If you don’t the opponent will make one you have no wipe for. The game has become over the years with these really over powered cards, just a case of throwing something out to save your butt and bring you straight back into the game from near defeat and that my friend… IS ALL RNG. You either have that perfect card, or you dont and you can see it on the face of pros in top 10 legend playing in tournaments not getting that card they need at the right time.
