Every deck is stall to OTK

Been playing all day today and every single deck, save for druid and paladin rush (both rare in comparison), was stall stall stall stall stall till they get their OTK. Games are sooooo bland because of this. I think they seriously need to nerf or remove so many single card stalls that exist in the current standard card pool.

edit:
Several other decks, that aren’t specifically OTK, are just stall stall stall till they throw out big drops. It’s so easy to just fill your deck with board clears, big armor, big heals, freeze, and otherwise stall the game out to 20-30 minutes of nothing.

You misunderstand what an OTK is. I haven’t played an OTK deck since OTK Lynessa last expansion. The current Lynessa decks are just strong and not OTK.

Well you could try to make an OTK Lynessa deck now but it will be bad because there are not many cheap Face spells.

Also let’s be fair.

They aren’t stall to OTK. Stall means that they’re not trying to kill you before. They are and most of the time they do.

There are quite a few decks that gain a lot of armor, maximum health, and stall right now. Of those some have an otk while others are just grindy attrition. He’s probably referring to protoss mage, wheel warlock, triple blood starship dk, and terran warrior, which have all seen an uptic in play rate over the past few days. None of those is very good at killing you before turns 8 or 9, and the first two do kill you in an instant.

Yes I am aware of what OTK is – you trolls with thousands of posts are the worst. You just assume noone else knows the game like you do.
Mage OTK
Priest OTK
Warlock OTK

All exist and all are based on stalling until they can drop it. Then there are other decks focused on big drops that aren’t specifically OTK, which I didn’t directly mention, but you should be smart enough to get the general idea of the context behind the post…

you guys are so weird – another troll with thousands of posts who just assumes some weird thing – and that they are the all master know everything of this game and no one else knows anything about it. I know what OTK is along with everyone else in the forum. Why would you assume we dont? Absolutely bonkers how lowly intellegent and wannabe condescending this is…10k posts is crazy levels of step outside and touch some grass dude.

I agree with you that it’s become way too easy to force a 20-30 min game. It happens to me all the time with any deck I play, if I was unlucky or if I misplayed

With that said, it’s likely that your choice of deck is bad for this meta, if that’s how you’re feeling.

Although, it could be possible you just played too many games in short amount of time, as that’s how I tend to feel when that happens - it’s a mini-burnout of some sorts.

Anyway, it’s not every deck. Plenty of non-OTK decks around. None of the DK decks OTK you, and Rogue decks are more tempo-based than OTK, although the board swing they tend to do can sometimes freely be compared to a combo.

I also don’t really enjoy the meta, even though I think it’s the most balanced one we had in ages, if not since the game’s beginnings, but I think it’s fair to let those who like the meta enjoy their 5 minutes of glory, as our time has come and passed, and will come and pass again.

I’m getting tired of the hero power OTK decks in wild. You’d think hearthstone would step in and do something. Between Mages and Paladins there are far too many degenerates playing these auto win decks.
