Everburning Phoenix Wild

The Miniset brought us a new dumb Combo OTK Deck.

Umbra/ Juggler/ Everburning Phoenix.

So dumb as it is, it would be OK, if there not some Players with Animation Cheats.

If you don’t know this Deck, here ist a Video from Zeddy.

Infinite Damage, the only Limit ist Animationtime.

So: it’s Possible to do this Combo with only one Knife Juggler and TWO Phoenix (around 40-50 damage in one Turn are possible).

This Combo can usually happen in t5, t4 with highroll.

With two Jugglers and two Phoenix, you can do easy 80+ damage in t6+

So, this is dumb, but beatable (Build a Board, slow them down with Razorscale etc. and hope for a luckyshot with Theotar, or play aggro)…

Now there are a few Players in High Legend EU who Speed Up the Animations and do the OTK with just one Juggler and one Pheonix.
And thats the biggest Problem.

They can easy start the OTK on t4 (today i died on t3 to one of them), or do more than 50 damage (with Board).

This is normally not possible because the Animations are to slow.

I don’t know what, but Blizzard do something.

I don’t want to kill APM complete, but maybe ist’s time to add a Maximum on Cards playable through one Turn (around 20-25 :man_shrugging: )
Because it’s not the First time that a Deck is abused to make an early OTK that is only possible with Animation Cheating.

Ban or Nerf Phoenix ist nor a solition, because there ist still Draka Rogue etc.

Sorry for the Bad English

I just report them for purposely exploiting a game mechanic. Move on to the next one. It’s a really stupid deck.

Yes, it is, but its one Thing to lose to a dump Combo, and one Thing to lose to a cheater.

Me too, but in the past, nothing happend to this Players (Rank one Ignite Mage Player for example).

They nerfed the Decks, yes, but i never Heard of banning Players because they speeded Up the Animations.

I mean they don’t ban obvious bot accounts either so it doesn’t come as a surprise.

If enough reports are made eventually an auto ban might happen. I’ve seen people complain their accounts have been suspended for a similar offense.

I believe that those bots that have prevailed are from Blizzard itself so that there are always active aggro decks balancing the meta. I have been reporting them for months without any results, if you play in legend you may be familiar with the names of “Vito” or “Tornado”, these players come out at any time and never changing deck…

By the way, the first fenix rogue I faced was not a cheater, I beat him but he left me at 5 health, clearing my entire board with a total of more or less 40 damage but yeah he only used 1 knife juggler, you can do the combo with both multiplying the damage so we have an idea of who is a cheater and who is not…

And the worst thing is that it is extremely annoying to wait their entire turn and have yours start immediately with the rope on and with only 10 seconds left…

  1. Report cheaters.

  2. Yes, It is a problem. Hearthstone is a card game and not an FPS. In fact there should be a rule where If a setup that ends the game is detected the game Just ends on the spot instead of people needing to play the same cards a ridiculous number of times.
