Regardless, I wont craft them again without being compensated for them. I’m not paying for cards that I already earned, purchased, and crafted before. We need the cards back or compensation.

You said “craft them again” implying that you thought you had crafted them. Fuzzypanda’s response was very helpful. Strange that a GamingGenius is struggling so hard with the concept of Core. There is a lot of information out there if you go looking, then you wouldn’t have to rely on people responding to you in ways that you don’t like

I completely agree with you 100%.
Just noticed my Patchwork is gone too, along with other cards in other decks. It doesn’t matter if it was moved to core. I owned a copy and now I own no copies (That includes wild playsets) and that is just unacceptable. If this doesn’t get fixed in the next few months I’m going to quit Hearthstone.

I am missing my King Krush. I crafted a golden copy years ago and it is gone. I complained 4 years ago about that and nothing was resolved.
That’s hillarious demanding proof in a forum that bans images and links. But, seeing as I’m pretty done with a company that deletes my cards without my permission sure, Just add https to the beginning and you can see my “Evidence” on this google drive I whipped up just for this. I don’t even have to look at the pic to know that you are misunderstanding something. Patchwerk was a Core card. Literally no one owned him. Core cards are free and on loan to all players during their time in Core. If a card that was only ever in the Core set is removed from Core, it is placed in the Legacy set, but no players will have a copy until they craft it or open it in a Wild pack when this happens.

The forum system is not friendly for sharing links and photos, but no one is banned for sharing them unless they are inappropriate. There’s even a sticky about how to get around the limitations placed on newer accounts so that images and links can be posted to the bug report forum
I see, I didn’t know about that specific rule. I misread that it was supposed to become wild. Thank you. I still disagree entirely with the concept of removing cards from my collection and will probably still quit Hearthstone because of it. But at least I understand why it’s gone.
there used to be no core set at all, there was no free set of cards to play with, you had to farm gold or spend money for all your cards
now we get a core set which is great for new and old players, it gives us access to plenty of great cards to have fun with

This whole thing with the core cards can be a bit confusing no doubt about that. It is a free set of cards which is loaned to each player for 1 year. And once a year this set must be changed to adapt to the current and following meta.
