Ensorcelled Fungus & Upper Hand not working together

I just got out of a BG and when my opponent’s “Upper Hand” tavern spell to bring 1 minion to 1 hp it either didn’t visually bring my Fungus down to 1 HP or it didn’t bring it down to 1HP at all.

Ultimately it didn’t matter as he 1 shot it either way and I lost that round with lethal damage, but I did notice it.

Fungus has an aura buff. The spell set its health to 1, but it still has +whatever for each tavern spell that was cast
