Enough with paladin

For how much longer will Paladin (handbuff, psipsi) stay untouched. Definitly one of the worst seasons. Mini set useless, it was created only for mages. By the time maybe even before mage got nerfed meta was shifting to the previous meta. The game is so boring now nothing new, mana cheats and if you dont play aggro you are cooked. So disappointing.

Honestly in the same boat as you. The fact that handbuff paladin remains mainly unchanged outside of the addition of San’Cazel is pretty crazy.

I chosen to take a break, as I find that to be helpful to an extent.

handbuff paladin doesn’t seem nearly as bad a the recent Pipsi thing I’m seeing. Handbuff is strong but plays a generally fair board game. You’re not going to get surprised or blown out by anything stupid.

The Lynessa/Pipsi paladin just feels so ‘cheatey’ and lame to play against because of the MASSIVE swing turns they have. Maybe it’s just me - not sure how consistent that deck actually is.

As of VS 305, paladin is a tier 1 deck, but it’s got relatively average if not low play rates despite the power.

A glance at the match ups doesn’t have it entirely green or anything. It’s got its share of favorable and unfavorable match ups.

You can say it’s boring seeing the class playing the same deck over and over, but that’s not unique to paladins, or to this meta.

On one hand you have mages who enjoy the miniset to the point they had to be nerfed. On the other hand you have something like pirate DH who has no use for their miniset cards.

enough with warrior, DK, Druid, Warlock, Priest… we hate those too but still have to face them…

Not sure how low on mmr you’ve to be to frequently face priest and druid, but for me diamond 5 to legend is bsm, lyssa pally and aggro dh almost all the time

I haven’t seen a paladin in weeks. The mage nerfs on the other hand actually did nothing to the playrate.

Turn 4 sunset volley in your face and cause it’s so well balanced, just repeat it. Glad they are so skilled in balancing their own game.

Is such ^ misinformation spread intentionally or is it just ignorance?

Before the nerfs, at the height of BSM’s popularity in the new Perils meta, its popularity tended to range from 15% to 25%, depending on the bracket.

While BSM may still be a very popular deck, its popularity tends to be around 5% to 8%, depending on the bracket—and which version is being looked at. Pipsi Paladin’s popularity tends to be less than 1% less than Orb BSM, but it’s been steadily increasing over the last week, and it might eclipse BSM’s popularity over the next few weeks.

just open the VS report and it tells you, bsm is still the top choice among diamond to legend. Yes, if you camp in bozo bronze league or whatever you’re, you may face it less.
But bsm, pally and dh are just cancer right now and dominate the ladder up there.

That format is just standard without the ranks. It’s all the same ladder decks there.

you can just concede those game, and lose nothing

They are ALL like that though. I guess if you are a new player you might get some creative players but at high MMR everyone is a ladder deck in casual.

i hardly ever see ladder decks in casual
