Just started getting back into this game and have been running into an issue/bug every night that I’m playing Battlegrounds (solo). I keep getting the “endless turn” effect where all the action on the board stops randomly, at whatever state it’s in, and the rest of the game’s UI keeps animating (smoke/etc) around the board. I can check my friends list, change my video settings, etc - access all of those buttons/features, but the game is functionally disconnected. There’s no prompt…no nothing. I close the game, and upon reopening I’m just at the main menu. No reconnect option.
I’ve already scanned/repaired the game files and am not sure what else to do. Any help is appreciated.
***Update: 34min after I originally posted this, it happened again. The second I noticed it, I quit the game and reopened it. No reconnect button. GG.

I have the same problem as you and did the same things.
AND THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!
I’ll reinstall the game and will update if there is any change.

I have scanned/repaired my game files & forwarded the ports on my router. I had played like 4-5 games and thought I was in the clear, but alas… the endless disconnect happened AGAIN.
***UPDATE: What’s even better is that I decided to move to duo Battlegrounds to build in some kind of failsafe to reconnect to the game in a 2p mode, and guess what? Endless turn happens, I quit the game (NOT concede) immediately and there’s NO RECONNECT BUTTON. But get this - I can SPECTATE the game my partner is now stuck in, who now doesn’t have a partner??
How does this make any sense at all??? Are there any devs that work on this game anymore???

Similar thing happened to me twice in Arena and once in Standard in the last two days. I passed the turn to my opponent, then it looked like they’re doing nothing but their turn went on indefinitely, no timer, nothing… although the UI stayed responsive. When I finally closed the game and restarted I could not reconnect, simply lost those games.

UPDATE – The fix is to just ALT + F4 your game. DON’T hit escape to quit game, DON’T hit the gear in the bottom right to quit game. Just ALT + F4 and re-open the game from there. Then, you will have the reconnect button.
