This is the 8 hands deck i am playing. I ran it all the way to legend with only one change in there. Orbital moon is a pretty amazing card. I always look to get it early to keep pressure on the board. It’s not a terrible card late game either.

Just played 2 more Odyn Warrior games. He was the very last card on one of them. Anyone want to math out the odds of Odyn being your last five cards, six out of seven games?
Lie? You can point to your stats website all you want but I looked at the data like you did and came to a different conclusion. It isn’t a lie its a different interpretation.
I stated that according to the data it was good vs rogue and other mana cheat decks and pretty average vs. everything else. I claimed that ex rogue/mana cheat (BSM/Druid cheat) the deck looks pretty average. If the playrate of that archetype of deck decreases I imagine your stats websites would align with my view and we would see that the deck is performing well due to being the beneficiary of being matched against a bunch of stubborn players playing a particular archetype which to me does not make a ‘great’ deck. Im sure though you will go on in perpetuity on this forum and call me insane for not thinking ‘look its green that means its great’ or ‘high number is great’ even though I explained why despite those numbers I interpreted it differently. I think the deck looks better on those stats websites than it actually is due to having a favorable matchup against a certain type of deck that is heavily played. The fact that even though odyn warrior might not do well against the rest of the field the fact that it curbstomps elemental mage also means it isn’t that great. A great deck to me is one that doesnt have such a polarizing winrate counter.
I asked you to do a chart sorted by archetype winrate to help illustrate my point and you said it would be too much effort and I agree. I think we both have wasted too much time on this already. You dont agree with my conclusion and I dont agree with yours, so be it.
Your data is misleading. People are playing the hell of out bad decks which inflate the winrate. Theres 45k games of quasar rogue on your screenshot which is sporting a fantastic winrate of 45% in top legend.
Take out all those garbage games and where would elemental mage fall then? Answer me that question.
From your donkey website it looks like mage is farming people playing hunter/rogue
hsguru archetype/Elemental Mage?rank=top_legend (it doesnt let me post a link but hopefully you can add the http and .com and a /)
Take out those outlier winrates against hunter and rogue and then what… looks like the position would be closer to 51-52% which would be mid.
Stop trolling! Everyone knows that mages are the only truly balanced class in this struggle known as Hearthstone. The Devs work hard to keep the good mages down. Always have, always will. Why, you might ask? Because they secretly hate magic. They hate those robe wearing heroes! They would rather watch a warriors don 500 suits of full plate armor than give a mage a good spell.
This so called combo is so difficult to come by that a person could reliably be struck by lightning 100 times in a row… give or take a strike than have this combo effectively work. Or hit powerball lottery 29.2 times in a row. Folks. don’t listen to the deception of these anti-mage troll-faced hatemongers!
It was meme tier last expansion ill argue that to the grave. Only people complaning were bad players.
Problem with mage isnt mage. Its because classes like priest for one example are bad right now which should be a deck like ele mages natural counter. Ele mage isnt op imo its its counters being underpowered and needing buffs. Demon hunter should also be countering ele mage.
The player base begging to nerf aggro and complaining about priest created this monster
Its not one particular card that makes ele mage strong. Its the decks styles counters/classes not having what it needs to counter it.
If playing the board is op then something else is wrong here.
