I couldn’t add this as a reply to the other thread because I had replied there already. What the heck: I just realized the deck is also in the top 10 of the top 1K this past 3 days if you filter for 200 samples (and top 5 today on 70 samples). Stats are generally stable-ish after 60 or 80 samples.
I wonder if some top players copy some decks from the low ranks,
or maybe the top forgot aggro(-ish) can kill them.
There are so many variants of the deck ATM. It’s hard to tell which one is the best but it’s a solid deck no doubt.
I find only 2 from the last 3 days with enough samples. Main difference is one uses Azerite Giant and the other Rolling Stone and one Lamplighter and Tar Slime is not double.
Doesn’t look that different though I guess the giants version is slightly slower (or maybe even better hence smarter (it has slightly better win rate after all)).
I was looking at all the different ones on HSreplay.
Since the nerfs i am just rolling on 1k ele mage with 1 azerite 1 lamplighter. I really cant calcuclate which one is better in every scenario. Rolling stone is whatever. Cant find room for it since everything is irreplaceable at its cost. Dont think the skill level is lower nowadays. But as we discussed too many times in the forums, nowadays you are on 39 hp and cant feel safe, since you arent. Casually bombing 100-0 with the forged spell is ridiculous.
On general stats (non-opponent specific), Azerite seems best, but it’s extremely bad on mulligan/kept so it must never be kept in the mulligan I guess.
