Educated Elekk - secrets interaction

step 1: install deck tracker
step 2: you or your opponent play Educated Elekk
step 3: your opponent or you play secrets which the Elekk copy into their Deathrattle
step 4: before the secrets are revealed, kill your or your opponent’s Elekk
step 5: the deck tracker now present the secrets that were shuffled into your or your opponent’s deck, discovering the secrets that were played but not yet revealed

The reason is that you need deck tracker for this is because cards being shuffled are not revealed on the screen by the game client, but are actually found within the logfile being watched by the tracker.

Please fix ASAP

That’s an interesting conundrum;

You play Educated Elekk
Your opponent plays a Secret which Elekk stores.
Your Elekk dies, placing the stored Secret into your deck.
Since the deck is yours, that information is ‘face up’ to you. The Deck Tracker (or, rather, the logfile) simply reveals the contents of your deck.

Quick Question; does the in-game side-log reveal what spells were shuffled?

Its not you who has to play the Elekk, it also works if your opponent play the Elekk, then they play some secrets which get copied by their Elekk and then the Elekk dies copying the secrets to the opponent’s deck before they are triggered.

Even in that case , where all secrets should be hidden from you, they are actually not and are revealed to you due to the shuffle captured by the deck tracker.

To your Question: yes, and i believe this is the nature of the issue.
Simple developer oversight.

blizzard does however not develop the deck tracker, its a 3rd party software

However, Blizzard does choose what appears in the logfile, which the Deck Tracker reads. Sooo… Blizzard error!

Correct, Blizzard needs to fix this.
Even when the companies that create the Decktrackers fix to hide this information (which they most of the time do when things like this are discovered), other people can still develop their own tools to read the log and collect the “leaked” information.
Only information that can be disclosed to the player should ever be in the log.
