Easy fix for BSM problem

Make the coin, don’t count as a spell by removing spell tag from it and make it an ingame token to gain manna.

“babe wake up, the new flavor of the month deck we’ll all forget in two years just dropped”

“give me just a moment, I need to put on my ‘core game systems must be completely revamped’ pants”

The takes keep getting better and better.

At this point, I’m not shocked if their next post is “How to fix Dirty Rat - Let’s make all minions count as spells and all spells count as minions!”

This calls for a new common card: Dirty Brat, 2 mana 1/1 with Battlecry: eat the highest cost spell in your opponent’s hand and gain attack and health equal to its cost. I’m shocked Blizzard hasn’t printed such a card tbh. Everyone would run 2 of them and try to make extra copies!

Well, you have any ideas that will not kill the mage again because if they nerf mage it will kill the class again. That’s why thinking coin would be better hit the problem 10 spell switch with coin cost, if not a spell. BSM is really only deck can counter all trash in meta.

And this is why even though the devs are not whom I would choose, I am so glad the people here aren’t allowed to design cards.

Blizzard need hit mage with out killing class and how else to do it I would like know because coin problem at the moment. Once mage get coin it gg so how else stop this combo from switch 0 cost spell.

Even if they nerf the coin to not be a spell, it will not kill mage. They can still run Miracle Salesmen to generate a 0 mana spell anyways.

So how do we fix mage then it not like raising cost is going work it just one turn it slow down. You can still do the combo still early on and repeat it just as fast with manna increase.

This is like wanting to know how vaccines work and going to a Flat Earth forum for answers. You’re not going to get game design solutions in this place, chief.

You’re not going to get them from a Blizzard balance patch, either.

Well blizzard has problem killing mage all time when doing nerfs paired an other class in the game. It like the nerf hammer come down hard on them to make not even be around anymore. I mean god look at warlock , druid , and paladin still just as bad.

Calm down already. Getting all excited and responding to everyone so frantically that you forget grammar isn’t going to get you any closer to answers. Patience.

Blizzard is going to overnerf Mage. Resistance is futile. Accept this reality.

Sorry am typing fast

Yes i have.
Put a player count limit to classes.

If there is more than X people playing the same class than you get slower ladder times if you try to play it so people not play against mage after mage.
Anyone thinking this is about power is just dumb.

I strongly agree with this part.

To be fair it was a joke but since people say the ladder is rigged anyway atleast we could have it help instead of only being a conspiracy theory about why they lost.

I don’t see what’s funny about a queue for mages to play Ranked that only grows longer over time. It’s the kind of apocalyptic non-solution that I genuinely fear could become popular with morons here

Like people thinking that we can just put a price cap on eggs

Someday people would get tired of wait.

Atleast i hope so.

This is probably the biggest self perpetuating myth in the community.

“They will just alter mana costs! These don’t work as nerfs!” And then a single mana cost going up in a single card breaks decks. They have been doing exactly this for ten years and I can count on the fingers of my hands the amount of times this approach didn’t work.

Putting a combo one turn later is a MASSIVE slow down, specially in the earlier turns. More minions on opponents board = Less effective tsunamis = Dip into the Winrate

Right now Skyla is exactly as fast as King Tide when she is not coined out on turn 4. The best nerf would probably be something to break the turn 4 Skyla drop, and that would be enough.

Yes they would. And that’s terrible.

The behavior pattern that would result is people logging in for the day, trying to queue up with the deck they actually want to use to see if they can have a chance, waiting 5-10 minutes as they slowly get more frustrated, then uttering a few curse words as they realize that it’s hopeless, begrudgingly cancel and change decks to their second choice.

I don’t know what the “unreasonable” wait time is, let’s say 15 minutes, some diehards would actually wait it out anyway. This would keep wait times high, but these people would also be frustrated by spending half their time in queue instead of playing.

The only way anyone can think that’s a good thing is if they hate those players.
