Easy cheap wild decks

i have never played wild what are some easy affordable decks that i can get lots of wins with

Pirate Rogue is relatively cheap (two legendaries and two epics - and one of the legendaries is Mr. Smite, so if you don’t like it you can DE it at no loss). 5400 dust total.

It is a very fast deck and I’m sitting at 50-ish legend with it currently

Out of Cards has regular (weekly?) articles specific for Wild format, you might find something there. The most current is here:

Anything older, since at least this April’s reset, should be valid, too.

I retired my rogue deck after the Mr Smite nerf, it may still be a good deck but it already is a deck that has a very linear gameplan and I saw it as an opportunity to cash out for 1600 dust. In that regard it is an ‘easy’ deck so it may be perfect for him even if it’s not for me.

Frankly, I didn’t see the nerf greatly affect the deck. Mr Smite was always used as a finisher and/or surprise burst (as opposed to an ultra-combo OTK card such as in some other Rogue decks).

The increased cost certainly affected its use, but the deck aims to reach a winning position early, so while it remains a powerful card, it was never a need-to-draw element for this deck (this position is held by Swordfish).

Pirate warrior in wild was great when we had the honor grind. Turns out we didn’t need to grind it, but the typical greedy state of most wild decks means aggro often easily snowballs for fast wins.

With how cards have elevated in power through the years you can build a deck from the standard pool and do quite well in wild. Just off the top Quest Warrior and Hunter can all pull their own weight in Wild easily.

Well by the time you’ve got the mana for Mr Smite in this deck you’ve actually drawn through about half of your deck and with dredge mechanics as well as secret passage you can probably sure up that you receive it in half of your games, so nerfing a reliable finisher in this deck is significant and a one mana nerf possibly makes Leeroy better. So if I did want to play this deck further I could probably swap him in with cold blood or shadowstep, the main downside being that dredging for him is bad because he’s not a pirate and at this point I just play Kingsbane Rogue instead perhaps.

Also… when I’m looking at a deck to craft for in wild I often look for cards that have replayability as well and both patches and smite only have playability in pirate decks, I already had patches from boosters and smite was from a miniset (which people can’t get so easily anymore), the only useful addition is picking up 2x secret passage, to craft 4000+ dust and only be able to reuse 800 dust worth of cards in the future is maybe not crash hot and I don’t usually spend 4k dust on a deck so it’s barely just budget, that’s like an entire 5 months worth of dust.

In my opinion it’s probably not a great entry moment for wild unless you already picked up significant pieces of other decks, with pirate rogue basically being the cheapest deck at 4000+ dust. For me though I had played this deck a lot and a lot and refunding it justifies me to splash 3200 dust on another deck and whatever other deck I craft is probably going to be stronger than pirate rogue. Though also the fact that wild is very expensive at the moment means my less meta decks are performing decently, even despite the fact that I only played once in the last month because I was playing runescape and doing other things, still hit 10 stars.
