So, I’ve just started with Hearthstone and I figured out you’d have to spend a lot of $ on cards… the business model.
But what is the easiest class to master with basic cards?
At the moment I think hunter and shaman seem a bit “easier”?
What’s your advice?
You get Jaina at the beginning, so use her!
All of the following are my own opinion but
Mage, hunter and paladin are probably the easiest for new players. Those classes are relatively easy to learn and master
Shaman, Priest and druid are easy to learn but hard to master
Warrior and Warlock is hard to learn but easy to master
Rogue is hard to learn and hard to master
I recommend staying away from Warrior and rogues at the beginning but do eventually check them out
I’d say definitely Mage and Hunter are top 2. Mage has decent damage spells with Fireball/Frostbolt and removal with Polymorph/Flamestroike. Hunter you play Beasts, you play cards that synergise with beasts (Houndmaster/Kill Command), you hero power, you go for the win.
Some get better as you add in the Classic set.
Warlock is a good one to learn using your health as a resource to draw cards.
Paladin, Priest, Druid are somewhere in the middle.
Shaman may be difficult as Bloodlust is your only wincondition but you can learn from using Flametongue totem to trade in your token minions.
Warrior isn’t that bad but does suffer a bit in that its hero power doesn’t help you control the board or help kill your opponent. (At least with Basic set)
Rogue is harder to learn and would be a class to learn later once you’ve got the hang of some other classes.

Probably hunter. Midrange hunter deck is really cheap and easy to play.

What do you mean by master a class?
It’s not really the class but every deck is different.
That being said Hunter is by far the best Basic deck class in my opinion. Mage is decent but falls of stronger once you meet “state of the art” decks.

learning would be learning the each cards and what they do
mastering is like understanding all the basic cards, understand how each cards syerngies with other cards or your hero power, how to effectively deck build and not just put random cards in just because it looks good.

I went with the Warlock Class!
110% aggressive beast-hunter all the way.
This has been the best begginer class since the start of the game because of cards like Hyena and that 6 drop lion that should be legendary.
If you come far with it, a good first epic crafting choice would be Master’s Call (that stupidly broken card).
