There are times where the friend I play duo’s with is busy with other things, as is life. So, once an a while I will play duo’s in ranked solo.
When I play Duo’s I don’t expect my teammate to be good, like if they suck, that’s fine, if they are good, that’s great.
However, I do feel that there needs to be a report button for when your teammate insists you send them something within the first few rounds, well before either of you have an established board. Then when you don’t send them what they want , they sell everything and spend the rest of the match emoting at you until you’re the first team eliminated.
I understand that some hearthstone players are barely out of their toddler years, but this type of “look at me I sold my own board!” tantrum approach with the constant emoting needs to able to be reported.
There’s a report button for regular ranked when you suspect your opponent for deranking, which to me, makes no sense given that there could be a number of things that came up in that moment of time for them to potentially throw their own match, and it only negatively impacts them. In Duo’s, it’s very obvious when your opponent throws at times, and this is behavour that in out of your control and impacts us as a team negatively.
I mean sure, I could concede when this happens, but then they don’t lose any rank and I’m the one that gets penalized for their immaturity. So I do the best I can until we are eliminated.
I usually sell my board once i know we’re about to die

Don’t play team games on the internet with randoms (only with friends (real or online friends)). You WILL be trolled by randoms on the internet sooner or later when you start going up the ranks to your highest potential. This is not true only for Hearthstone but for ALL games on the internet that have team play (eg World of Warcraft).
Not sure a report button would do much, but at least a block button to make sure you don’t get partnered with them again.

You decided to play DUO’s so you are going to have to deal with this. It’s not like they really care about the mode. You are better off just going and playing BG’s instead.

But only do this to make a point if your partner isn’t even trying to help you survive the next round and is actively sabotaging you. For example, if you lost the last round or last several rounds and are below 15 points, and he spends all his gold tiering up to level 4 or 5 instead of using his gold to strengthen his board, then he deserves you to sell your board!

Or spend a good part of your resources to send key comp items over and then get nothing helpful back even when asking.
Literally had a game where my teammate sent me a surprise elemental while i had two droplets in my hand. Second place, because people are terrible at helping one another.
Duos needs at least 6 confirmation popups warning you when queueing solo.

Of course a report will help, it’s a step towards incentivizing good behavior and people not trolling. Idling or pinging or etc… that’s totally fine, even AFK is fine… life happens.
But intentionally selling a board because your partner doesn’t do what you want them to, that’s a problem and absolutely needs to be reportable to help punish bad behavior and make it less common.
So if your teammate is doing smth completely stupid and that’s why your team will take a certain place that is not the first place no matter what, you’d better waste time to keep doing smth for 5-6 turns and then take that place instead of selling a board and taking the same place and saving your time?
Just imagine situations when, for ex, only your board has some combat abilities, there are two teams left and other team is not very strong, but both of them work to improve smth, while your teammate thinks that small buffs like +4/4 are enough and doesn’t make any efforts. You can play few turns before you will take the second place or sell your board and take the second place now.
Or it is impossible to imagine bc it is always you who is doing smth completely stupid in the team? If you see selling-the-board behavior once or few times, it doesn’t mean anything; but if you see it often, then the answer of this question is probably yes. It is possible to meet some trolls, but most people are not trolls and just want to save their time and nothing more. So if you see this behavior very often, try to learn the game or stop playing with random innocent people.
That is a premise based on your belief that the report function in constructed is anything more than a placebo. It’s not and they don’t pay attention to it at all.
