Playing Casual Duels I chose the pieces as I progressed through my 12-1 run. The first 2-3 games after getting both pieces (around 9-0?), the completed weapon appeared in my hand at the start of the game. But after a a few games Quel’Delar stopped appearing (and wasn’t ever drawn), even though it was listed as being in my deck. My last treasure pick before the end also offered me the blade again (I’m not sure if that’s supposed to happen or not). Quel’Delar not appearing may have happened after picking my next treasure (Hyperblaster I think), or maybe after a game where I both transformed all my spell (via Deck of Lunacy) and then destroyed my deck (via Infinite Arcane)?

I am honestly not sure, but reading online i think you lose the sword to someone who beats you. Maybe this happened after you lost? You did say you finished 12-1…
Hi! I have the same issue. I was playing heroic duels (150gold) and I got Quel’Delar. Quel’Delar appeared for a few games in start hand and then stoped appear in my hand. So I lost 10 strick wins. I checked that Quel’Delar was in my deck after the first loss and still no Quel’Delar in start hand in the next matches.
This just happened to me as well, Quel’delar appeared in my hand for two games, then stopped. It was on about the 8th game.
As of 05 AUG 2021: It appears that you don’t get Quel’Delar any longer (?) after beating someone with it. I just beat a warlock in duels and did not even get the QD. It used to always be the first card drawn if I beat someone who had it and ended up with it in my deck.
I had an opposite situation happen, I was beaten by a rogue that had Quel’Delar and after the match it was added to my deck and stayed in my deck for the rest of the run, ended up going 12-2, rather than appearing in my hand it was just the first card drawn every match. I didn’t draft any of the pieces or steal it from his hand or deck in any way, it just was given to me for free.
