Hi, so for some reason even though I select a different hero power before I start a duel it always reverts back to the first one?

It’s one of the known issues with the patch. Apparently there should be a fix coming in the next few days.
Keep in mind “next few days” appears to be the new Blizzard Soon™, so it might be a while before we see the fix.
